\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 1. At Least Seven Civilians Killed in SAC Airstrike on Maw Chi Area, Karenni State<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 25 around 11:00 a.m.<\/strong>, the military junta carried out an aerial attack using a jet fighter<\/strong> to drop a 200-pound bomb<\/strong> on a mining site<\/strong> and a general goods store<\/strong> in Ward 15 of Maw Chi area<\/strong>, Hpasawng Township<\/strong>, Karenni State<\/strong>. According to local residents and humanitarian aid workers, at least seven civilians were killed<\/strong>, and over 40 others were injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sources report that the military regime is deliberately targeting civilian areas<\/strong> instead of battle zones. Since the coup, Maw Chi has been hit by more than six airstrikes<\/strong>, with at least 13 civilians<\/strong>, including children, killed in earlier attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 2. Junta and PNO Militia Jointly Burn Down Saung Nankhae Village in Pekon Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to local sources, Saung Nankhae Village<\/strong>, located on the eastern shore of Pekon Lake<\/strong> in Pekon Township<\/strong>, near the border of Shan and Karenni States<\/strong>, is being raided and burned<\/strong> by joint forces of the military junta<\/strong> and the PNO militia<\/strong> under its command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 23<\/strong>, the junta launched an offensive from eastern Mobye<\/strong>, supported by airstrikes and heavy artillery<\/strong>. By the afternoon of June 24<\/strong>, the entire Saung Nankhae Village had reportedly been set ablaze and destroyed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, multiple resistance forces\u2014including the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF)<\/strong>, Mobye PDF<\/strong>, Pekon PDF<\/strong>, Loikaw PDF<\/strong>, Pyar Column<\/strong>, and the Karenni Liberation Army (Khu Lar Lah Ta)<\/strong>\u2014have launched defensive counterattacks<\/strong> against the junta-PNO joint forces. However, due to continuous aerial bombardment and artillery support from the junta, civilian casualties remain a significant concern<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 3. PDF Intelligence Officer from Demoso 1102 Battalion Killed in Mobye Battle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A military intelligence officer<\/strong> from the Demoso 1102 Battalion<\/strong>, under the People\u2019s Defense Force, Southern Shan\/Kayah (Karenni) Military Region<\/strong>, was killed in action<\/strong> during fighting in Mobye<\/strong>, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 24<\/strong>, PDF officer Charlie (a.k.a. Bo Than Chaung)<\/strong> of Demoso 1102 Battalion heroically gave his life<\/strong> in a battle against advancing SAC troops heavily deployed in Mobye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officer Charlie joined the Demoso 1102 Battalion on August 22, 2021<\/strong>, and had served with dedication and distinction<\/strong> in various revolutionary operations. His battalion released a statement expressing profound grief and solidarity with his family and comrades<\/strong>, honouring him as a People\u2019s Martyr Hero<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 4. Nine SAC Camps Simultaneously Attacked on Yangon\u2013Mandalay Old Highway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a statement by the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government (NUG)<\/strong>, nine junta military camps<\/strong> stationed along the Yangon\u2013Mandalay old highway<\/strong> within Nyaunglebin, Kyauktaga, and Phyu Townships<\/strong>, Bago Region<\/strong>, were simultaneously attacked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operations were launched in the early hours of June 25<\/strong> by combined forces under PDF Operation Area 2<\/strong> and Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA)<\/strong> units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
