The National Unity Government Sends Message of Felicitations to the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Unity Government (NUG) has expressed its heartfelt congratulations in a message of felicitation sent on June 25, on the occasion of the&nbsp;<strong>Fifth Regular Meeting of the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament<\/strong>, where the government was granted the honour to send its message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The message states that the NUG is pleased to witness the&nbsp;<strong>growing unity and collaborative efforts<\/strong>&nbsp;among political and revolutionary forces within the Sagaing Federal Unit, all striving toward the common objective of building a Federal Democratic Union. It further emphasizes that&nbsp;<strong>this solid unity and collective endeavour constitute not only essential strength for the success of the revolution<\/strong>, but will also form the foundational pillars for the future Federal Democratic Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>Section 52, Chapter 8, Part 2<\/strong>&nbsp;of the Federal Democracy Charter, the NUG commends the Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament for its cooperation with local revolutionary forces in the development of legislative, executive, and judicial mechanisms within the Sagaing Federal Unit. The NUG reaffirms its&nbsp;<strong>full support, collaboration, and assistance<\/strong>&nbsp;in these efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Particularly, the NUG expresses deep appreciation for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Sagaing Federal Unit Parliament&#8217;s initiative in reviewing and revising the\u00a0<strong>Interim Constitutional Framework (Draft III)<\/strong>\u00a0based on recommendations from both union-level and regional stakeholders, and successfully publishing it for public awareness;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ongoing\u00a0<strong>consultations with the Federal Support and Coordination Commission (FSCC)<\/strong>\u00a0to engage in transparent, reciprocal dialogue concerning the draft framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The NUG states that it&nbsp;<strong>takes great pride in these collaborative efforts<\/strong>, which strengthen the foundation of democratic governance and federal unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>2. Over Six Million People in Myanmar Still in Need of Emergency Assistance Three Months After Devastating Earthquake \u2014 United Nations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly three months after the most powerful earthquake struck Myanmar,&nbsp;<strong>over six million people<\/strong>&nbsp;remain in urgent need of emergency assistance, according to a report released by&nbsp;<strong>UN Myanmar on June 25<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis natural disaster has significantly worsened&nbsp;<strong>existing humanitarian needs<\/strong>&nbsp;that were already critical due to years of ongoing conflict and mass displacement,\u201d the report noted. \u201cUN agencies and their partners in Myanmar responded swiftly, delivering life-saving assistance to the most heavily affected areas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, despite reaching mid-2025,&nbsp;<strong>only about 12% of the funding required<\/strong>&nbsp;for Myanmar\u2019s humanitarian response plan has been received. UNOCHA Myanmar issued a warning, stating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe earthquakes have further deteriorated an already dire humanitarian situation. Without additional funding,&nbsp;<strong>millions of people will struggle to access life-saving assistance.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report underscores the urgency for&nbsp;<strong>increased international support<\/strong>, warning that the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar will deepen unless more resources are mobilized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>3. DPLF\/DPLA Calls on the Public to Support \u201cMother Daung\u201d 20 Million Kyat Campaign<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Danu People&#8217;s Liberation Front\/Army (DPLF\/DPLA) has issued a public call inviting revolutionary supporters to contribute to its&nbsp;<strong>\u201cMother Daung 20 Million Kyat Campaign.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe, the Danu People&#8217;s Liberation Front\/Army (DPLF\/DPLA), have actively participated in various battles, in close coordination with allied forces, starting from Operation 1027 (Waves I and II), including those in Kyaukgu-Inntaw, Taung Kham, Naung Cho, Kyaukme, and Hsipaw. Even now, in the current battle of Naung Cho\u2014where the SAC has launched a counteroffensive\u2014we remain unwavering in spirit, resolute in determination, and steadfast in unity with our allies, continuing to engage in the fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this ongoing battle at Naung Cho, which the SAC is attempting to reclaim,&nbsp;<strong>our comrades urgently need military gear, rations, and medical supplies.<\/strong>&nbsp;Our ability to continue standing firm to this day is thanks to the support and contributions of the public. Therefore, we strongly urge all revolutionary supporters across Myanmar\u2014including civilians, laypersons, and the monastic community\u2014to come together and&nbsp;<strong>contribute to this campaign<\/strong>,\u201d said the DPLA fundraising team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>\u201cMother Daung Campaign,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;which aims to raise&nbsp;<strong>20 million kyat<\/strong>, is scheduled to run&nbsp;<strong>from June 25 to August 8<\/strong>. Interested donors are encouraged to contact the campaign team via&nbsp;<strong>Page Messenger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>4. In Shan State, 47 Civilians, Including 12 Children, Killed by the Terrorist Military Regime<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data compiled by the&nbsp;<strong>Association for the Assistance of Political Prisoners (AAPP)<\/strong>, from&nbsp;<strong>January 1 to June 25, 2025<\/strong>, a total of&nbsp;<strong>47 civilians<\/strong>\u2014including&nbsp;<strong>18 women<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>29 men<\/strong>\u2014were confirmed killed in Shan State due to acts committed by the terrorist military regime. Among the dead were&nbsp;<strong>12 children under the age of 18<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of these fatalities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>32 individuals<\/strong>\u00a0were killed in\u00a0<strong>airstrikes<\/strong>\u00a0carried out by the junta\u2019s forces, making it the\u00a0<strong>leading cause of civilian deaths<\/strong>\u00a0in the region;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>13 others<\/strong>\u00a0were killed by\u00a0<strong>heavy artillery shelling<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>second-highest cause of deaths<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For instance, on&nbsp;<strong>June 24<\/strong>, the junta launched&nbsp;<strong>intense aerial bombing attacks<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Ward 3 and Ward 7 of Kyaukme Town<\/strong>, Shan State. The attacks claimed the lives of four civilians:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Daw Hla Yee<\/strong>, a rice shop owner;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Her son\u00a0<strong>Ko Thiha Naing (a.k.a.
