Four Junta Troops Killed, 10 Injured During Clashes in Ayadaw Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 24<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Danger Force \u2013 Special Operations Unit under the Ayadaw Township People&#8217;s Defense Force (PDF)<\/strong>, a total of&nbsp;<strong>four junta soldiers and Pyusawhti militia members<\/strong>&nbsp;were killed and&nbsp;<strong>up to 10 others were injured<\/strong>&nbsp;during a series of clashes in&nbsp;<strong>Ayadaw Township<\/strong>, Monywa District, Sagaing Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 19<\/strong>, a battle occurred approximately&nbsp;<strong>800 meters<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Ngwe Twin Pyu Village<\/strong>, and on&nbsp;<strong>June 20<\/strong>, another clash broke out near&nbsp;<strong>U Kya Si Bridge<\/strong>, also close to Ngwe Twin Pyu Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PDF reports that&nbsp;<strong>four junta-aligned personnel<\/strong>&nbsp;(including Pyusawhti militia) were killed, and&nbsp;<strong>up to 10<\/strong>&nbsp;sustained serious injuries in these clashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These attacks were jointly carried out by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Danger Force \u2013 Monywa District PaKaPha (People&#8217;s Defense Team)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monywa District PaKaPha<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monywa District Battalion No. 21<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ayadaw Township PaKaPha<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NDRF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And an unnamed allied unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 20<\/strong>, the same coalition also&nbsp;<strong>conducted a clearance operation<\/strong>, targeting a&nbsp;<strong>ward administrator named U Aung<\/strong>&nbsp;in Ayadaw town, resulting in his assassination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Two Killed in Landmine Attack on Junta Vehicle Departing Myotha Police Outpost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 24<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>landmine ambush<\/strong>&nbsp;targeted a&nbsp;<strong>military vehicle<\/strong>&nbsp;departing the&nbsp;<strong>Myotha Police Outpost<\/strong>&nbsp;en route to the&nbsp;<strong>Gway Kone military camp<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Ngazun Township<\/strong>, Myingyan District, Mandalay Region, killing&nbsp;<strong>one junta officer and one soldier<\/strong>, according to a statement from the&nbsp;<strong>Red Dragon Guerrilla Force<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At approximately&nbsp;<strong>7:30 a.m. on June 24<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>Honda Fit<\/strong>&nbsp;carrying one officer and four soldiers was ambushed between Myotha and Gway Kone using&nbsp;<strong>two landmines<\/strong>, detonated in succession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack killed&nbsp;<strong>two junta personnel<\/strong>, including the officer, and&nbsp;<strong>seriously injured two others<\/strong>. The explosion shattered vehicle windows and parts of the car were scattered into the blast site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack was carried out by the&nbsp;<strong>Red Dragon Guerrilla Force under Myingyan Combat Zone 3 of the PDF<\/strong>. The group also issued a&nbsp;<strong>public advisory<\/strong>, urging civilians&nbsp;<strong>not to travel between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.<\/strong>, and recommending that vehicles&nbsp;<strong>lower their windows when driving<\/strong>&nbsp;to avoid misidentification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. At Least Four Clashes Within a Week in Tanintharyi Township; Junta Forces Suffer Casualties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 24<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from&nbsp;<strong>PaKaPha Myeik<\/strong>, at least&nbsp;<strong>four clashes<\/strong>&nbsp;took place between&nbsp;<strong>June 17 and 24<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Tanintharyi Region<\/strong>, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>casualties on the junta\u2019s side<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>June 17<\/strong>, around\u00a0<strong>9 p.m.<\/strong>, resistance forces launched an attack on\u00a0<strong>Light Infantry Battalion 558<\/strong>\u00a0based in\u00a0<strong>Kammalain Village<\/strong>, leading to a battle that lasted\u00a0<strong>about 20 minutes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>June 18<\/strong>, as a junta convoy moved in from\u00a0<strong>Inndaw<\/strong>, it entered\u00a0<strong>Tamotcho Village<\/strong>, where resistance fighters conducted a\u00a0<strong>drone strike<\/strong>, dropping\u00a0<strong>four explosive rounds<\/strong>, injuring\u00a0<strong>two junta soldiers seriously<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>June 19<\/strong>, at\u00a0<strong>8:50 a.m.<\/strong>, another battle broke out near\u00a0<strong>Let Taung Yar Village<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Tamotcho Village<\/strong>, when junta troops from\u00a0<strong>Myeik<\/strong>\u00a0advanced toward\u00a0<strong>Thain Khon<\/strong>. The fighting lasted\u00a0<strong>about 25 minutes<\/strong>, with confirmed casualties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On\u00a0<strong>June 24<\/strong>, at approximately\u00a0<strong>2:00 p.m.<\/strong>, a\u00a0<strong>convoy of fully-loaded junta vehicles<\/strong>\u00a0was ambushed near\u00a0<strong>Yampho Village<\/strong>\u00a0using landmines and\u00a0<strong>light weapon gunfire<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These operations were jointly carried out by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tanintharyi Township People\u2019s Defense Force<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PaKaPha Zone 4<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Myeik District Battalion 1<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Myeik District Battalion 2<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PaKaPha Zone 3<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Myeik Township People\u2019s Defense Force<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Junta Forces and Pyusawhti Militias Burn Down Villages in Kanbalu Township for Two Consecutive Days, Execute One Civilian, and Detain Five<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 24<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 23 and 24<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>junta forces and Pyusawhti militias<\/strong>&nbsp;raided&nbsp;<strong>Thapyay Thar<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Kyaung Kone villages<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Zee Kone combat zone<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Kanbalu Township<\/strong>, setting both villages on fire for two consecutive days. They also&nbsp;<strong>executed one civilian<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>detained five residents<\/strong>&nbsp;(three men and two women), and&nbsp;<strong>looted valuable civilian property<\/strong>, including gold, money, mobile phones, and other personal items, according to the&nbsp;<strong>Kanbalu District team of the Kyunhla-Kanbalu Activists Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta column, comprising over&nbsp;<strong>100 troops<\/strong>, entered&nbsp;<strong>Chin Myit Khin village<\/strong>&nbsp;via&nbsp;<strong>Kanbalu 6006<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>June 21<\/strong>, stayed overnight, and proceeded to station at&nbsp;<strong>Wakto (South) village<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>June 22<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>8:30 a.m. on June 23<\/strong>, the troops launched an assault on&nbsp;<strong>Thapyay Thar and Kyaung Kone villages<\/strong>, using&nbsp;<strong>heavy and light weapons<\/strong>, as well as&nbsp;<strong>drone-dropped bombs<\/strong>. During this attack,&nbsp;<strong>U Maung San<\/strong>, a man in his 40s from Thapyay Thar, was shot and killed. They also&nbsp;<strong>detained three innocent civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;from Thapyay Thar and&nbsp;<strong>two others from Phol Kone village<\/strong>\u2014a total of&nbsp;<strong>five people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the junta troops&nbsp;<strong>looted<\/strong>&nbsp;valuable belongings from the villagers, including&nbsp;<strong>gold, cash, mobile phones<\/strong>, and other assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same junta and Pyusawhti forces&nbsp;<strong>set fire to Thapyay Thar and Kyaung Kone again<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>5:10 p.m. on June 23<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>continued burning the villages<\/strong>&nbsp;around&nbsp;<strong>10:00 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. on June 24<\/strong>. Some villagers who remained trapped in the area were reportedly&nbsp;<strong>arrested<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Junta Conducts Jet Fighter Bombing on Kyaukme, Killing Four Civilians<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 24<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Ta&#8217;ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Myanmar military junta<\/strong>&nbsp;carried out an&nbsp;<strong>airstrike using jet fighters<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>Ward 3 and Ward 7 of Kyaukme town<\/strong>, located within&nbsp;<strong>TNLA&#8217;s Brigade 2 controlled area in northern Shan State<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>four civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the&nbsp;<strong>afternoon of June 24<\/strong>, junta jet fighters dropped&nbsp;<strong>two 500-pound bombs<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>two men and two women<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition,&nbsp;<strong>two men and two women were injured<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>ten civilian homes<\/strong>&nbsp;were damaged or destroyed by the explosions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNLA emphasized that there were&nbsp;<strong>no active clashes<\/strong>&nbsp;in the area at the time and that the&nbsp;<strong>airstrike deliberately targeted civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNLA urged local residents to maintain&nbsp;<strong>heightened alertness<\/strong>, adhere to&nbsp;<strong>military safety precautions<\/strong>, and implement&nbsp;<strong>air defense preparedness<\/strong>&nbsp;to protect themselves from further junta attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. Three Out of Four Captured Troops from Kandaw Police Station Are Conscripts; Junta Left Them Behind Due to Injuries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 24<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the seizure of the&nbsp;<strong>Kandaw police station<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Pale Township<\/strong>, Sagaing Region, by the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Liberation Army (PLA)<\/strong>&nbsp;and allied resistance forces,&nbsp;<strong>details regarding the captured junta troops<\/strong>&nbsp;have been released by PLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of the&nbsp;<strong>four captured junta troops<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>three were forcibly conscripted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One of them,\u00a0<strong>15-year-old Maung Nay Htet Lin<\/strong>, was reportedly\u00a0<strong>selling grilled skewers in Yangon<\/strong>\u00a0when the junta abducted him and sent him to military training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Another soldier,\u00a0<strong>Soe Tar Ka<\/strong>, was abducted near the\u00a0<strong>Yangon highway terminal<\/strong>, forced into training at\u00a0<strong>Pinlaung military training school<\/strong>, and later deployed to the\u00a0<strong>Kandaw police station<\/strong>. During the battle, he sustained\u00a0<strong>chest injuries<\/strong>\u00a0and was\u00a0<strong>left behind<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0<strong>Kandaw Monastery platform<\/strong>\u00a0while trying to retreat, where he was captured and treated by PDF medics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Similarly,\u00a0<strong>Ye Kyaw Kyaw<\/strong>, a newly conscripted soldier, was captured during the same assault on the station.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The fourth detainee,&nbsp;<strong>Police Lieutenant Shein Ko Ko Kyaw<\/strong>, had been serving in the police force since&nbsp;<strong>1999<\/strong>.
