Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe stated that no action will be taken against former non-CDM (Civil Disobedience Movement) personnel who switch to the people\u2019s side. He made the remarks in a discussion session with revolutionary forces, responding to veteran journalist U Khine Maung Soe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEvery time we take control of a town, we end up having to arrest some non-CDM personnel. You all know that we actually don\u2019t want to arrest them. We are calling on non-CDM individuals to come into the light. We\u2019re still calling them. At any time, they are welcome to come out into the light. At any time, they are welcome to join the people\u2019s side. If they don\u2019t like the term \u2018come into the light,\u2019 they can consider it as \u2018switching to the people\u2019s side.\u2019 The category of non-CDM personnel who transition to the people\u2019s side is already addressed in our legal framework. Not all non-CDM personnel will face legal action. They are not being punished. They will not be punished.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the Minister urged non-CDM individuals to cooperate with the people and stated that the CDM law provides legal protection not only to CDM members but also to non-CDM personnel who collaborate with the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United Nations in Myanmar has announced that an additional 150,000 people will be prioritized for humanitarian assistance during the months of June and July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are deeply grateful to the French government for its support to the people of Myanmar affected by the devastating earthquake. France\u2019s assistance in rescue and recovery efforts has now reached affected communities through direct distribution by the World Food Programme (WFP) and partner organizations. At present, the WFP and its partners have provided aid to 400,000 people in Sagaing, Mandalay, Southern Shan State, and Naypyidaw as part of the first phase of the earthquake response operations. In the upcoming months of June and July, we plan to prioritize another 150,000 people and continue to provide them with food, cash, nutritional support, and recovery assistance,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Former Norwegian Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik and Members of Parliament from three political parties attended a birthday celebration held in honor of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi in Oslo, Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The square in front of the Parliament building in Oslo was bustling with pedestrians and onlookers, and many people gathered enthusiastically to witness the event.
The ceremony served as an effective platform to call for the release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other political prisoners.
At the event, the National Unity Government\u2019s Foreign Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung sent a video birthday message for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
Former Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik and the MPs from three political parties also demanded the release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other political prisoners.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s youngest son, Kim Aris (Ko Htein Lin), also sent a video message to extend his birthday wishes to his mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, on June 21, a separate birthday celebration was held at the Christian Center in Froland town, where the Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Park is located.
Myanmar nationals from Norway and abroad participated in the event, along with the Mayor of Froland, the Governor of Agder region, the NUG\u2019s representative to Norway, the Chair and Secretary of the CRPH Support Group (Norway), the President of the European Hindu Union, the Chair of the K\u2019cho Ethnic Association (Europe), and the Chair of the Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Park Committee\u2014all of whom gave birthday speeches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, a documentary video was shown featuring the Park Committee members\u2019 past visit to Myanmar and their meeting with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
At the event, a fundraising sale was also held in support of the revolution, and a public march calling for the release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all political prisoners was organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actress Chit Thu Wai made a public call inviting support and donations for the construction of safe hospitals in Myanmar, aiming to ensure access to secure and reliable healthcare services within the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTraza and Ko Lynn have already made plans to build at least one hospital using part of the proceeds raised from the Yaung Ni U.S. Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actress Chit Thu Wai also encouraged Myanmar nationals living abroad and like-minded healthcare professionals to participate in the campaign to help establish safe hospitals in Myanmar, so that people can receive medical care without fear or danger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign, titled Safe Hospital, Safe Healthcare<\/em>, aims to raise USD 400,000 and is scheduled to run from May 24 to June 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 22, the Chin Social Welfare Organization successfully organized a “Summer Friendship Football Match and Revolution Fundraising Bazaar” in Frankfurt, Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the football event, the team FC Burmese Unity Frankfurt<\/em> claimed the championship title. Awards and recognitions were presented to the winners by responsible officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
