It was attended by&nbsp;<strong>officials from the KNU\/KNLA<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>former Ayeyarwady Region Chief Minister U Mann Johnny<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>representatives from the Pa Ka Pha (People&#8217;s Administration Team) of Bago District<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>commanders from the joint revolutionary forces of Bago-Yangon<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>township and city Pa Ka Pha officials from Bago District<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>representatives from allied organizations and resistance fighters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, the following were carried out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saluting of the People&#8217;s Defense Force flag<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paying tribute to fallen heroes<\/strong>\u00a0who sacrificed their lives in the fight for federal democracy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recitation of the Four Core Values of the People\u2019s Defense Force<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Distinguished guests delivered&nbsp;<strong>honorary speeches<\/strong>, followed by remarks and words of appreciation from&nbsp;<strong>Ko Kyaw Naing<\/strong>, the township-level commander of the Kawah Township PDF. The ceremony concluded successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Kawah Township People\u2019s Defense Force<\/strong>&nbsp;was originally formed on&nbsp;<strong>June 23, 2021<\/strong>, under the command of the&nbsp;<strong>Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government<\/strong>, and operates as part of&nbsp;<strong>Southern Military Command, Battalion (2), Bago Regional Military Command<\/strong>, and under the leadership of&nbsp;<strong>Bago District Pa Ka Pha<\/strong>, actively participating in the revolutionary resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. TNLA Patrol Ambushed by SSPP\/SSA in Mongmit Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 23<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement by the&nbsp;<strong>Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)<\/strong>, a TNLA patrol operating in&nbsp;<strong>Mongmit Township<\/strong>, within the administrative area of&nbsp;<strong>Brigade 4 in Ta\u2019ang Region<\/strong>, specifically near&nbsp;<strong>Moe Hauk village tract<\/strong>, came under&nbsp;<strong>ambush fire<\/strong>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<strong>Shan State Progress Party\/Shan State Army (SSPP\/SSA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SSPP\/SSA reportedly fired&nbsp;<strong>small arms<\/strong>&nbsp;at the TNLA troops&nbsp;<strong>twice<\/strong>\u2014once at&nbsp;<strong>10:14 AM<\/strong>&nbsp;and again at&nbsp;<strong>11:36 AM<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>June 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, at&nbsp;<strong>12:03 PM<\/strong>, an&nbsp;<strong>artillery round<\/strong>&nbsp;was fired at the area where the TNLA column was located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNLA also stated that on&nbsp;<strong>June 15<\/strong>, the SSPP\/SSA took advantage of a TNLA troop\u2019s absence from&nbsp;<strong>Hu Sone Hill outpost<\/strong>, occupied the position, and when TNLA forces returned, the SSPP\/SSA launched a&nbsp;<strong>surprise attack<\/strong>, resulting in the&nbsp;<strong>death of two TNLA soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>injuries to three others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Resistance Forces Ambush Junta Reinforcement Convoy Near Wetlu Outpost in Natogyi Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 23<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Natogyi Township<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Mandalay Region<\/strong>, resistance fighters ambushed a&nbsp;<strong>military junta convoy<\/strong>&nbsp;providing reinforcements to a junta-controlled&nbsp;<strong>police outpost in Wetlu area<\/strong>, according to a report from&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Battalion 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack was part of&nbsp;<strong>Operation 9\/A Nyar Myae<\/strong>, jointly carried out by&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Battalion 4<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Myingyan District Battalion 10<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>Pa Ka Pha of Tada-U<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the ambush:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One\u00a0<strong>Deputy Sergeant<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>Junta Infantry Battalion 88<\/strong>\u00a0was\u00a0<strong>captured alive<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One\u00a0<strong>policeman defected<\/strong>\u00a0and entered the resistance side with his weapon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two junta soldiers, who were\u00a0<strong>forcibly conscripted under the People\u2019s Military Service Law<\/strong>, were\u00a0<strong>rescued<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Weapons and ammunition seized included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 x\u00a0<strong>MA-1 rifle<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x\u00a0<strong>MA-3 rifle<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>92 x\u00a0<strong>G3 rounds<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1,500 x\u00a0<strong>5.56 mm rounds<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12 x\u00a0<strong>M9 grenades<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>8 x\u00a0<strong>60mm mortar shells<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x\u00a0<strong>60mm mortar launcher<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 x\u00a0<strong>RPG warheads<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 x\u00a0<strong>RPG rockets<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14 x\u00a0<strong>anti-personnel mines<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11 x\u00a0<strong>hand grenades<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 x\u00a0<strong>drone shooter<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 x\u00a0<strong>magazines<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement,&nbsp;<strong>13 junta troops were killed<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>5 were injured<\/strong>, and the resistance forces&nbsp;<strong>recovered one body<\/strong>&nbsp;from the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Junta Troops Fired Heavy Weapons into a Village in Karenni State Despite No Fighting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 23<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<strong>KNDF Battalion 12<\/strong>, junta troops from&nbsp;<strong>Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 530<\/strong>, based in&nbsp;<strong>Loilin Lay Town<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Karenni State<\/strong>, indiscriminately fired&nbsp;<strong>heavy artillery into a village<\/strong>&nbsp;despite there being&nbsp;<strong>no clashes in the area<\/strong>, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>injuries to four civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At approximately&nbsp;<strong>5:30 p.m. on June 22<\/strong>, the junta troops fired&nbsp;<strong>around five 60mm mortar shells<\/strong>&nbsp;into a village located in the eastern part of&nbsp;<strong>Loilin Lay Township<\/strong>, without provocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the shelling, four civilians were injured:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A 36-year-old woman<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 19-year-old woman<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An 18-year-old man<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 14-year-old boy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Three Civilians Injured by Junta Attacks in Hpapun District<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 23<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Karen National Union (KNU)<\/strong>, three civilians were injured in&nbsp;<strong>Ler Doh (Kyaukkyi) Township<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Mu Township<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Kale Lu Htoo District<\/strong>, an area under the&nbsp;<strong>Kaw Thoo Lei administrative region<\/strong>, due to&nbsp;<strong>intentional shelling and drone strikes<\/strong>&nbsp;carried out by junta forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 14<\/strong>, junta troops from&nbsp;<strong>LIB 264<\/strong>, based in&nbsp;<strong>Painzalote<\/strong>, fired:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One 120mm shell into\u00a0<strong>Thamin Ein Kone village<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two 120mm shells into\u00a0<strong>Phyan Ta Lin village<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This resulted in injuries to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Naw Htee Lar Phaw (26), from Thamin Ein Kone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Naw Mu Mu (42), and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saw Dawng Phyone (11), both from Phyan Ta Lin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 17<\/strong>, junta forces again fired&nbsp;<strong>three 120mm shells into Thamin Ein Kone village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 20<\/strong>, junta forces based in&nbsp;<strong>Natthan Gwin<\/strong>&nbsp;conducted additional attacks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dropped\u00a0<strong>12 bombs using drones<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<strong>Oakshet Kone village<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fired\u00a0<strong>three artillery shells into Yay Lae village<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launched\u00a0<strong>one artillery shell into a paddy field<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The attacks damaged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One\u00a0<strong>Buddhist monastery<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One\u00a0<strong>Christian church<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Four\u00a0<strong>residential houses<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. Airstrike in Pauk Township Kills 5, Injures Many<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 23<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>6:30 a.m. on June 23<\/strong>, junta aircraft carried out&nbsp;<strong>airstrikes on several villages<\/strong>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<strong>southern part of Pauk Township<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>Bome, Bokone, Let Yar, Let Pan Hla, Tansuu, Thakkakyin, and Kinma<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>despite no fighting taking place<\/strong>&nbsp;in the area, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strikes resulted in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The deaths of\u00a0<strong>three civilians from Thakkakyin village<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two civilians from Bome village<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Many others were injured, and among the dead and wounded were also individuals who had traveled from the&nbsp;<strong>northern part of Pauk Township to the south for work<\/strong>, though the exact casualty figures could not yet be confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the injured are reportedly receiving treatment at nearby clinics. However,&nbsp;<strong>junta military convoys<\/strong>&nbsp;were reportedly moving toward&nbsp;<strong>Yenanmaw and Thar Gyi Taung<\/strong>&nbsp;to the east of Pauk, and were also spotted&nbsp;<strong>near Pyu Saw Hti villages<\/strong>, making access to medical care&nbsp;<strong>difficult and dangerous<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>7. Five Villages Torched by Junta Troops in Minhla Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 23<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to sources from&nbsp;<strong>Minhla<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>five villages<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Minhla Township<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Thayawady District, western Bago Region<\/strong>, were&nbsp;<strong>deliberately set on fire and destroyed by junta forces<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>June 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>5:00 a.m.<\/strong>, junta troops entered&nbsp;<strong>Bo Ta Htaung village<\/strong>, under&nbsp;<strong>Gantgawbin village tract<\/strong>, and began setting it on fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, at approximately&nbsp;<strong>7:00 a.m.<\/strong>, they torched&nbsp;<strong>Sar Chaung village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Htauk Kyant village tract<\/strong>, and again at around&nbsp;<strong>11:00 a.m.<\/strong>, they burned down&nbsp;<strong>Sin Aing Chaung Pauk village<\/strong>, also in&nbsp;<strong>Htauk Kyant tract<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At&nbsp;<strong>2:10 p.m.<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Gantgawbin village<\/strong>&nbsp;was again raided and torched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By around&nbsp;<strong>3:00 p.m.<\/strong>, junta soldiers reportedly&nbsp;<strong>beat and arrested 10 villagers<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Ngalat San village<\/strong>, under&nbsp;<strong>Kwetma tract<\/strong>, and continued torching the village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These reports were provided
