In Inndaw Township, Sagaing Region, the military junta carried out an aerial bombing targeting Yan Aung Mingalar Monastery<\/strong> located in Naba Village<\/strong>, causing destruction to the monastery and injuring a female traveler, according to local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports indicate that the SAC deliberately targeted the monastery at Naba Junction<\/strong>, launching two airstrikes\u2014the first at 5:45 a.m.<\/strong> and the second at 5:51 a.m.<\/strong> on June 22<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Inndaw Revolutionary Broadcasting Station (IR)<\/strong> reported that despite the absence of any armed clashes in the area, the junta carried out two consecutive airstrikes, leading to the destruction of the monastery<\/strong> and causing head injuries to a female traveler<\/strong> from bomb shrapnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the monastery is situated along the Mandalay-Myitkyina highway<\/strong>, it was frequented by travelers, and it was confirmed that the injured woman was among those passing through the area when the bombing occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naba Village has been abandoned since around September 2023<\/strong>, with its population displaced by conflict. Due to this, the area is mostly used as a transit point for travelers<\/strong>, and the number of civilian casualties was relatively low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc 2. Resistance Forces Warn of Action Against Overpricing of Fuel in Western Demoso<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In western Demoso<\/strong>, Karenni State<\/strong>, resistance forces have issued a warning that decisive action will be taken<\/strong> against any vendors selling fuel at excessive prices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This warning was prompted by a sharp and unjustified increase in the prices of gasoline and diesel<\/strong>, which has placed a significant burden on local civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The People\u2019s Defense Force – Demoso (PDF-Demoso)<\/strong> and the Karenni Nationalities Liberation Front (KNLF)<\/strong> stated that they had received complaints from local families, manual laborers, farmers, and healthcare workers<\/strong> regarding the unreasonable hike in fuel prices, and that they were taking steps to address it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As such, fuel suppliers transporting fuel into western Demoso were instructed to sell at regulated prices starting June 22<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resistance groups clarified that this move was taken in the public interest<\/strong>, with pricing calculated based on the original purchase price, taxes, and a reasonable profit margin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
