Three ABSDF Column-3 Fighters Killed in Assault to Capture Kantdaw Police Outpost, Pale Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 19<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the morning of&nbsp;<strong>June 19, 2025<\/strong>, at&nbsp;<strong>6:40 a.m.<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Liberation Army (PLA)<\/strong>, leading a coalition of allied revolutionary forces, launched a coordinated assault and successfully&nbsp;<strong>captured the Kantdaw police outpost<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Pale Township<\/strong>, according to an official announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further details from the operation will be released in subsequent updates, the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the battle to capture the outpost,&nbsp;<strong>three fighters<\/strong>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<strong>All Burma Students\u2019 Democratic Front (ABSDF) Column-3<\/strong>, specifically from&nbsp;<strong>Battalion 14<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>fell in action<\/strong>, it was confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who gave their lives with honor on&nbsp;<strong>June 17, 2025<\/strong>, at approximately&nbsp;<strong>5:20 p.m.<\/strong>, during the operation at&nbsp;<strong>Kantdaw village outpost<\/strong>, were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Comrade Htaik Gyi (aka Than Htaik Aung)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comrade Student Lay (aka Chit Zaw Phyo)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comrade James Maung<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>They were taking part in a joint effort with allied columns in the federal democratic resistance movement when they were killed in action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Airstrike Near Monastery in Hmaw Wan Lay Village, Hpakant Township, Injures Two Children<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 19<\/strong><br><em>Radio NUG<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around&nbsp;<strong>3:17 p.m.<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>June 19<\/strong>, a&nbsp;<strong>fighter jet from the junta\u2019s Bridgehead Air Base<\/strong>&nbsp;dropped a&nbsp;<strong>bomb<\/strong>&nbsp;near the&nbsp;<strong>monastery<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Hmaw Wan Lay Village<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Hpakant Township<\/strong>, followed by a round of&nbsp;<strong>machine gun fire<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack resulted in&nbsp;<strong>two children being injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the&nbsp;<strong>morning of June 19<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>night of June 18<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>combined forces from the Kachin Independence Army (KIA)<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Kachin People&#8217;s Defence Force (KPDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;launched attacks on junta troops stationed in Hmaw Wan Lay village, leading to&nbsp;<strong>exchange of gunfire<\/strong>.
