The Ministry of Health under the National Unity Government (NUG) announced on June 16 that individuals who contribute USD 1,000 or more to the ongoing \u201cSafe Hospital, Safe Healthcare\u201d campaign will be awarded special honorary certificates personally signed by the Union Minister, in addition to the standard certificates of appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list of authorized fundraisers to whom donations can be made is available on the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Health. The fundraising target for the \u201cSafe Hospital, Safe Healthcare\u201d campaign is set at USD 400,000. The campaign period runs from May 24 to June 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been confirmed that Ko Htein Lin, the youngest son of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, will attend the fundraising event commemorating his mother\u2019s 80th birthday, which is set to be held in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will take place on Saturday, June 21<\/strong> in Feltham<\/strong>, and is organized to celebrate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s 80th birthday while raising funds in her honor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Myanmar Event in UK<\/strong>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA must-attend event \u2014 Kim, Suu Kyi\u2019s youngest son, will personally cut the birthday cake in her honor. On top of that, many talented Burmese chefs in London will be contributing their culinary skills to a fundraising food fair. Limited edition Suu Kyi T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the event.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceeds from all T-shirt sales \u2014 including cost \u2014 will go entirely towards the campaign being organized by Kim in honor of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the Su 80 Campaign<\/strong> announced that the birthday video tribute for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi had received over 40,000 submissions<\/strong> as of June 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday we\u2019ve passed the halfway mark. Only four days remain to collect the final 40,000 video submissions. Those who feel safe may submit their videos with their faces shown. Thank you to each and every one who has participated,\u201d said the campaign team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To set a Guinness World Record<\/strong>, the campaign aims to collect 80,000 video messages<\/strong> for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s 80th birthday by June 19<\/strong>. Each video must include the words \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cSU\u201d<\/strong>, and must be no longer than 30 seconds<\/strong>, as per the submission guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Shwebo Township People\u2019s Defense Team (Pa Ka Pha) in Shwebo District, Sagaing Region, visited displaced civilians within the township and extended words of encouragement, assuring them of collaborative support should emergencies arise. According to the local defense team, they also distributed rice, food supplies, and various crops to assist the displaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the Pa Ka Pha Voice reported that a total of MMK 16 million (approx. USD 4,800) was donated by various responsible units of the Pa Ka Pha in Sagaing Region to support the families of the 24 civilians who were killed and 40 others who were injured in Oe Tein Tine Village, Depayin Township, due to an airstrike carried out by the terrorist military.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 12, the SAC launched an aerial attack on the village school in Oe Tein Tine, resulting in the deaths of 24 individuals \u2014 including students and teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been reported that a total of USD 145,000<\/strong> was raised for Myanmar\u2019s revolution through the \u201cYaung Ni Live in Francisco\u201d<\/strong> concert held in San Francisco, United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Free Burma Action Committee San Francisco, the concert successfully took place on June 14<\/strong> and drew a strong turnout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Popular Myanmar vocalists including Lin Lin<\/strong> and Chit Su Wai<\/strong>, as well as many members of the Myanmar diaspora in the United States, participated in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mass Protest Leading Committee of Kale Township has called on the public to actively participate in the upcoming June 19 Flower Strike<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis year marks the 80th birthday of our people\u2019s leader. In honor of this milestone, we are organizing two concurrent campaigns as part of an 8-day movement \u2014 from June 14 to 21<\/strong>. Participants may join the Flower Strike and the Blue Shirt Movement on any convenient day within this period or take part daily, according to their capacity,\u201d the committee stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet us stand united and committed in our resistance for the swift release of our unlawfully detained leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, all political prisoners, and the liberation of the entire country from the grip of dictatorship,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The committee also emphasized that the Flower Strike movement would be carried out with full awareness and caution regarding security measures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
