Junta Troops Ambushed on Mawlamyine\u2013Thanbyuzayat Highway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 12<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At approximately&nbsp;<strong>5:00 AM on June 11<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Ramanya Mon Armed Forces (NMSP-AD\/RMA)<\/strong>&nbsp;launched an ambush on a Myanmar military convoy traveling in a&nbsp;<strong>FAW truck<\/strong>&nbsp;for road security duty on the&nbsp;<strong>Mawlamyine\u2013Thanbyuzayat highway<\/strong>, between&nbsp;<strong>Yaung Daung Village and Nhi Badaung Village<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Mon State<\/strong>, according to official reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The military convoy consisted of&nbsp;<strong>around 30 junta troops<\/strong>. The ambush took place near the top of&nbsp;<strong>Nhi Badaung Village<\/strong>, resulting in a&nbsp;<strong>clash that lasted nearly one hour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initial reports suggest&nbsp;<strong>heavy casualties and injuries<\/strong>&nbsp;on the junta\u2019s side, though exact numbers are still being verified. The&nbsp;<strong>NMSP-AD\/RMA<\/strong>&nbsp;also reported that&nbsp;<strong>one of its officers<\/strong>&nbsp;was killed in action, stating that he&nbsp;<strong>sacrificed his life with honor for the country and the people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The resistance group added that the&nbsp;<strong>clash was a response<\/strong>&nbsp;to the junta\u2019s ongoing&nbsp;<strong>extortion and violent vehicle checks<\/strong>&nbsp;in the area, where regime troops have been stopping civilian vehicles under the pretense of license checks and harassing locals, particularly in&nbsp;<strong>Thanbyuzayat and Mudon Townships<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Five Junta Soldiers Killed in Battle at Pyu Base near West Myakyekan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 12<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<strong>Anyar Mye Joint Forces<\/strong>, a coordinated attack on a junta base in&nbsp;<strong>Pyu Village<\/strong>, near&nbsp;<strong>West Myakyekan<\/strong>, in&nbsp;<strong>Pakokku Township, Magway Region<\/strong>, led to the death of&nbsp;<strong>five junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;and left&nbsp;<strong>two others injured<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack took place on&nbsp;<strong>June 10<\/strong>, between&nbsp;<strong>5:00 AM and 7:00 AM<\/strong>, and resulted in the&nbsp;<strong>capture of three bunkers<\/strong>&nbsp;at the base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, as the resistance forces were nearing full control of the camp,&nbsp;<strong>junta reinforcements from Bae Gyi Pyu Village and Pakokku-based Battalion 101<\/strong>&nbsp;arrived, forcing the resistance forces to&nbsp;<strong>tactically withdraw<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the battle,&nbsp;<strong>three members of the revolutionary alliance<\/strong>&nbsp;were reportedly injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation was a joint effort by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Anyar Mye Joint Forces<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eyar Daung Force<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PKU Borderless<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PI PDF<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ko Yekha &amp; Ba Lanyi Naung-led Youth Guerrilla Force (Y.G.F)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wan Palwe Guerrilla Force<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>God of Myaing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cyclone Guerrilla Force<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DYT Guerrilla Unit<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>21 Bagan<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BLY Pa Oak (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Burmese Revolution Ranger<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PLO Guerrilla Force<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Thakhin Phoe Hla Gyi (Magway District Pa Ka Pha Column 6)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. 18 Junta Airstrikes in Min Tat Township Since January Have Killed 10 Civilians<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 12<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Administrative Team of Min Tat Township<\/strong>&nbsp;has reported that from&nbsp;<strong>January 2025 through June 11<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>military junta carried out 18 airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Min Tat Township<\/strong>, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>at least 10 civilian deaths<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>20 injuries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These air raids also caused damage to over&nbsp;<strong>100 structures<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>religious buildings, government offices, and private homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. Civilians Displaced as Junta Launches Offensive in Naung Cho<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 12 | Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In northern Shan State, the junta launched an offensive into a territory under the control of TNLA\u2019s Brigade 3, forcing civilians to flee toward Kyaukme Township, according to a TNLA announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between April 29 and June 8, more than 1,000 civilians reportedly fled from Naung Cho Township to escape clashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the displaced are sheltering in various locations: 46 people at Tilin Pariyatti Buddhist Monastery, 30 at A Way Yar Par Monastery, 625 at Naung Pain High School, 150 in Htan Ta Pin Village, and 163 in Loke Par Hta Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These internally displaced persons (IDPs) originate from neighborhoods and villages including Taung Ward, Station Ward, Market Ward, Zay Kone, Naung Lin, Tharyet Kone, Kan Gyi, Yay Phyu, Lout Phan, Nyaung Pin Thar, Me Put, Naung Cho Gyi, Yay Maung Tan, Nyaung Ni, Thone Hse, Taung Shay, Myet Chi Nu, Thapyay Yay, Nar Show, Shwe Mutho, Man Maw, Inn Pho, Taung Hla, Taung Khan, Letpan Kone, Lwal Khaw, Pan Nae Kone, Naung Aw, Nyan Taw, Lone Khan, Nam Saung Hoo, and Par Htut villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the absence of active fighting in many of these villages, the junta has reportedly conducted deliberate attacks using heavy artillery, drone strikes, and air raids. As a result, civilians have been killed or injured, and numerous houses, monasteries, and schools have been damaged or destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. 181 Junta Troops Surrendered, Defected, or Were Captured in May<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 12 | Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to People\u2019s Goal (Pyithu Pantai), a total of 181 junta personnel either surrendered, defected, or were captured as prisoners of war during May 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among these, 71 personnel defected to the resistance, including 66 soldiers, 1 police officer, and 4 members of the People\u2019s Militia (Pyusawhti).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the 66 defecting soldiers, 42 were forcibly conscripted new recruits, reportedly deployed under coercive tactics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, 30 junta soldiers surrendered during battles, and 80 personnel\u201465 soldiers, 6 police, and 9 militia\u2014were captured as prisoners of war by resistance forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cumulative records compiled by People\u2019s Goal indicate that from January to May 2025, a total of 1,222 junta troops either defected, surrendered, or were captured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6. TNLA Holds Graduation Ceremony for 67th Weekly Military Training Course with 822 Participants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 12 | Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) held the graduation ceremony for its 67th weekly military training course on June 6 at an undisclosed location in Ta\u2019ang territory, according to a release by the PSLF\/TNLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TNLA Commander-in-Chief General Tar Htup Larn addressed the graduates, stating that \u201cmulti-dimensional combat training is crucial to defending our Ta\u2019ang homeland,\u201d and that fighters must \u201cbear the responsibilities of their leaders, never forget the teachings of their instructors, remain disciplined, and stay constantly vigilant against the enemy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further emphasized that all graduates now bear individual responsibility to protect the townships and communities administered by the PSLF\/TNLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 822 trainees completed the course\u2014657 men and 165 women. The course, divided into two sections (Groups A and B), emphasized combat proficiency and lasted over three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outstanding trainees were awarded for excellence in marksmanship, weapon assembly\/disassembly, and specialized assault operations.
