The announcement was made by Acting President Duwa Lashi La.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the announcement, U Kyaw Zaw will continue serving in other strategic roles within the Presidential Office, particularly in the sectors of strategic engagement and coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>2. Military Junta Committed a Total of 606 Human Rights Violations in May Alone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 10<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Human Rights under the National Unity Government (NUG) has documented a total of&nbsp;<strong>606 human rights violations<\/strong>&nbsp;committed by the terrorist military junta during the month of May 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sagaing Region recorded the&nbsp;<strong>highest number of human rights violations<\/strong>, with&nbsp;<strong>128 cases<\/strong>&nbsp;in May. Meanwhile,&nbsp;<strong>Mandalay<\/strong>&nbsp;Region suffered the&nbsp;<strong>highest number of aerial attacks<\/strong>, experiencing&nbsp;<strong>71 airstrikes<\/strong>&nbsp;throughout the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry also noted that all other documented violations\u2014including mass killings and other grave incidents\u2014have been systematically recorded, along with the resulting number of fatalities and the extent of destruction and losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to&nbsp;<strong>equality, peace, and justice for all citizens<\/strong>&nbsp;and stated that it will continue its efforts to&nbsp;<strong>hold the military junta accountable<\/strong>&nbsp;for its crimes, pursuing justice to the fullest extent possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>3. NUG Ministry of Health Mourns the Death of Nurse U Aye Maung, Who Died in the Line of Duty During the Spring Revolution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 10<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Health under the National Unity Government has announced with sorrow that&nbsp;<strong>Nurse U Aye Maung (TN), aged 61<\/strong>, who had been providing medical care and health services to local ethnic civilians and revolutionary fighters in Inndaw Township, Sagaing Region, succumbed to injuries sustained in an airstrike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was injured during a&nbsp;<strong>military junta airstrike on a clinic<\/strong>&nbsp;in Inndaw Township in April 2025 and&nbsp;<strong>passed away on May 22<\/strong>&nbsp;from those injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry expressed&nbsp;<strong>deep condolences and solidarity with his family<\/strong>, acknowledging his sacrifice on the frontline of the Spring Revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry further reaffirmed its commitment to continue working hand in hand with all ethnic people of Myanmar&nbsp;<strong>until the complete fall of the military dictatorship and the emergence of a Federal Democratic Union of Myanmar<\/strong>, pledging unwavering dedication to this cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc&nbsp;<strong>4. Chairman of the All-Lapantan Township Student Union (ABFSU), Ko Aung Kote Soe, Severely Beaten by Prison Staff<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 10<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the All Burma Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU),&nbsp;<strong>Ko Aung Kote Soe<\/strong>, Chairman of the Lapantan Township Student Union, who is currently serving a&nbsp;<strong>12-year prison sentence<\/strong>&nbsp;under&nbsp;<strong>Sections 505(a) and 124(a)<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>Thayarwaddy Prison<\/strong>, was&nbsp;<strong>violently assaulted<\/strong>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<strong>May 17<\/strong>&nbsp;by prison staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The beating reportedly took place both&nbsp;<strong>inside the office of a prison official and in the southern wing<\/strong>&nbsp;of the prison.
