Formation of the Ta&#8217;ang Land Council (TLC)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A formal announcement was issued on&nbsp;<strong>June 9<\/strong>&nbsp;regarding the&nbsp;<strong>formation of the Ta&#8217;ang Land Council (TLC)<\/strong>, composed of&nbsp;<strong>nine individuals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the announcement, a high-level leadership meeting was successfully held from&nbsp;<strong>June 1 to 3<\/strong>&nbsp;at a location within Ta&#8217;ang territory. PNO People\u2019s Militia Forces Over 6,000 Civilians to Evacuate from 2 Village Tracts in Hsihseng Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 9<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Pa-O National Liberation Army (PNLA)<\/strong>&nbsp;reported that the&nbsp;<strong>PNO People\u2019s Militia<\/strong>, operating under the control of the military council, has issued&nbsp;<strong>evacuation orders<\/strong>&nbsp;to more than&nbsp;<strong>6,000 civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>two village tracts in Hsihseng Township<\/strong>, demanding they leave their homes by&nbsp;<strong>June 15<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The villages ordered to evacuate include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From&nbsp;<strong>Naung Kyaung village tract<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tapu Hto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kaung Hto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lwai Ngone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Naung Bo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pin Sat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From&nbsp;<strong>Taung Hse village tract<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Naung Htaw 6 Village<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kala Lam<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta-backed PNO militia issued written orders to these villages on&nbsp;<strong>June 7<\/strong>, stating that&nbsp;<strong>all residents must evacuate by June 15<\/strong>. The notice also warned that&nbsp;<strong>they would not be held responsible for any consequences<\/strong>&nbsp;if the villagers failed to comply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the notice explicitly prohibited evacuees from relocating to farms or internally displaced persons (IDP) camps. Public Protest March with Banner: Boycotting the Fascist Election and Marching Bravely on the Federal Path<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A public protest movement opposing the military dictatorship was organized on the afternoon of June 8 in Launglon Township, Dawei District, under the leadership of the Democracy Movement Strike Committee (DDMSC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This demonstration was carried out under the theme&nbsp;<em>&#8220;Boycott the Fascist Election, March Bravely on the Federal Path&#8221;<\/em>, as an act of resistance against the sham election being orchestrated by the terrorist military council. The junta is reportedly aiming to hold this illegitimate election during the third and fourth weeks of December 2025, and the first and second weeks of January 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Strike Committee, this counterfeit election, which serves as a political ploy by the military council, is intended to prolong and legitimize the military dictatorship. Anti-Dictatorship Demonstration by Students on a Public Road in Yinmarbin Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a location along a public roadway within Yinmarbin Township, members of the Yinmarbin Township Students\u2019 Union and the Pale Township Students\u2019 Union (both under the umbrella of the All Burma Federation of Student Unions &#8211; ABFSU) jointly carried out an anti-dictatorship protest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The protest featured a banner that read:&nbsp;<em>\u201cWe cannot coexist with both the noose and the blade\u201d<\/em>\u2014symbolizing resistance to the oppressive military regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The student unions stated that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn May 2025, the junta made propaganda efforts to reopen basic education schools and universities in military-controlled areas, including frontlines and conflict-adjacent regions. At the same time, they began forcibly collecting household lists and personal information from local students and their families. Moreover, schools have started extorting money for promotion to the next grade, and business owners with ties to the junta are distributing money and exercising manipulative control over locals through unethical means to sustain their operations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These conditions have caused widespread concern among the local population.
