Video Evidence Obtained of Four Captured PNLA Soldiers Being Executed by the Military Council and PNO Forces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 1<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the PNLA, a video has surfaced showing the execution of four out of five PNLA soldiers who had been captured by the Military Council and PNO People\u2019s Militia near Thihson Village in Hsihseng Township, Southern Shan State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This footage was reportedly discovered on the phone of a captured Military Council soldier by resistance forces, and the soldier in question has also allegedly confessed to the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The video reportedly shows a Military Council soldier shooting four captured PNLA soldiers from behind. According to statements from captured Military Council troops, members of the PNO People\u2019s Militia were also involved in the execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The four victims shown in the video have been identified as PNLA Deputy Battalion Commander Khun Kyap, Company Commander Khun Mway, Deputy Company Commander Khun Htun Ngwe, and soldier Khun Oo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred on&nbsp;<strong>January 12, 2024<\/strong>, during intense clashes between the Military Council\u2013PNO joint forces and the PNLA. During the battle, more than 20 soldiers, including a Military Council column commander, were killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the PNLA side, one soldier was killed and five were captured. Clashes Between SSPP and MNDAA in Lashio Township Result in Casualties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 1<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clashes broke out near Nam Lot Village, part of the Han Nar village tract in Lashio Township, Northern Shan State, between the Shan State Progress Party (SSPP) and the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), resulting in casualties, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fighting occurred around&nbsp;<strong>2:30 p.m. on June 1<\/strong>&nbsp;after territorial dispute negotiations between the two sides reportedly failed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SSPP\/SSA (Shan State Army) issued a statement saying that&nbsp;<strong>eight MNDAA soldiers were killed<\/strong>&nbsp;and several others were injured during the clash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The confrontation reportedly began when troops under MNDAA\u2019s Battalion 611 launched a surprise assault on SSPP\/SSA columns that were already active in the area. Six Junta Troops and Two Prison Laborers Killed in Attack on LIB (33) Headquarters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 1<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an official release by the Brave Warrior Myanmar (BWM) group, six junta soldiers and two prison laborers were killed during a targeted attack using short-range rockets on the headquarters of the military\u2019s Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) 33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The assault occurred on&nbsp;<strong>May 31<\/strong>, when&nbsp;<strong>Brave Warrior Myanmar<\/strong>&nbsp;collaborated with&nbsp;<strong>Shadow (Sagaing)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>No More Dictatorship (NMD)<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Infinity (Sagaing Urban Guerrilla)<\/strong>&nbsp;to launch three short-range rockets at the headquarters of LIB 33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack reportedly resulted in the deaths of six junta soldiers and two prison laborers working within the military compound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, a military vehicle driver and three more soldiers sustained serious injuries. Three police officers were also wounded due to damage to a line communication post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A central outpost, one line communication post, and two military vehicles were also struck and damaged by the rockets, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were unconfirmed reports that high-ranking junta officers were scheduled to arrive at LIB 33 headquarters. Its formation was intended to establish a formal military unit capable of strategically countering junta forces with organized combat tactics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its formation,&nbsp;<strong>Battalion 5101<\/strong>&nbsp;has actively participated in major battles, including those in&nbsp;<strong>Kawkareik<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Taung Kyar Inn<\/strong>, and has also supported operations along the&nbsp;<strong>Southern Shan\u2013Karenni border<\/strong>. It took part in the&nbsp;<strong>battle of Papun<\/strong>&nbsp;and was involved in the&nbsp;<strong>capture of Shwekyin-based Kha Ma Ya (598) military camp<\/strong>, fighting with strength and discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the course of the anti-dictatorship revolution, some members of Battalion 5101 have made ultimate sacrifices, giving up their lives and limbs with unwavering loyalty to the cause.
