He emphasized the importance of protecting civilians, including children and women, and reaffirmed the KNDF&#8217;s commitment to combating drug-related issues. These duties, he said, must be faithfully observed by all KNDF personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He further urged KNDF members to act in accordance with the law, safeguard the lives and property of the public, and maintain internal unity within the ranks. In recognition of the KNDF\u2019s contributions over the past four years\u2014organizing 35 battalions under nine commands and making sacrifices of life, blood, and sweat in the struggle for equality, self-determination, and federal democracy\u2014the Mandalay PDF extended its salute and respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mandalay PDF further stated that the political and military gains achieved through the leadership and sacrifices of KNDF commanders and members are not only significant for Karenni State and its people but also represent major historical milestones for the Spring Revolution as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, the Mandalay PDF announced its intent to partner with the KNDF in the forthcoming decisive offensive against military dictatorship\u2014an effort aimed at realizing the political and military aspirations long held by the Karenni people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;3. Two Junta Supply Trucks Ambushed in Taungtha: Two Soldiers Killed, One Captured Alive, and Weapons Seized<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 31<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an announcement released today (May 31) by the Taungtha Township People&#8217;s Defence Force (PDF) under the National Unity Government (NUG), an ambush was carried out on two junta military logistics vehicles transporting supplies and rations through Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region. The attack resulted in the deaths of&nbsp;<strong>two junta soldiers<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>capture of one junta personnel alive<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>seizure of one truck along with weapons and ammunition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ambush occurred around&nbsp;<strong>9:00 PM on May 27<\/strong>&nbsp;on the Taungtha\u2013Welong road. The attack targeted a&nbsp;<strong>military supply truck<\/strong>&nbsp;carrying about&nbsp;<strong>10 personnel<\/strong>, and a&nbsp;<strong>10-wheel cargo truck<\/strong>&nbsp;with approximately&nbsp;<strong>20 personnel<\/strong>. The convoy was traveling from Taungtha toward Welong Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the supply truck managed to flee the scene with some junta soldiers and police sustaining injuries, the&nbsp;<strong>10-wheel truck that followed<\/strong>&nbsp;was successfully hit and seized by the attacking forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the ambush, clearance operations conducted in the area uncovered the&nbsp;<strong>bodies of two junta soldiers<\/strong>. Over 7,000 Residents Displaced as Junta Troops Torch Villages in Paukkhaung Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 31<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to statements by the Federation of Student Unions operating from within Myanmar,&nbsp;<strong>more than 7,000 residents in Paukkhaung Township, Pyay District, Bago Region<\/strong>, have been forced to flee their homes due to ongoing military offensives by the junta&#8217;s ground troops, who are torching villages and shelling civilian areas with heavy weaponry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning&nbsp;<strong>May 29<\/strong>, junta forces have launched coordinated offensives into multiple villages in Paukkhaung Township, including&nbsp;<strong>Inhsauk<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Kwan Ohn<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Thaitkhon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>May 30<\/strong>, junta troops&nbsp;<strong>shot and killed an elderly internally displaced couple (around 60 years old)<\/strong>&nbsp;who had returned to Inhsauk Village to retrieve belongings.
