Multiple Junta Camps Captured During Fighting in Saung Pyone Village; Ammunition and Military Supplies Seized<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 30<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From May 17 to May 26, joint resistance forces including Hprakhoe PDF Battalion 1002 launched coordinated assaults on the camps of the PNO and junta troops stationed in Saung Pyone Village, according to an official statement released by Hprakhoe PDF Battalion 1002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clashes were described as intense and occurred almost daily throughout the operation. Despite continuous airstrikes and heavy artillery shelling by the junta to defend its hilltop positions, resistance forces managed to capture several enemy strongholds. In the process, significant quantities of military equipment, including ammunition and supplies, were seized from junta forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report also stated that numerous Pa-O youths\u2014many of whom had been forcibly conscripted into the junta\u2019s ranks\u2014were killed in the fighting, including a commander of the PNO\u2019s People&#8217;s Militia. Some resistance fighters also sustained injuries during the engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>2. Junta Troop Killed During Clash Over Theft of Civilian Property in Puzunmyaung Village, Nyaung Lay Pin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 30<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At approximately 7:45 a.m. on May 28, a clash broke out between a junta unit looting civilian property and members of the \u201cFire Dragon Guerrilla Force\u201d under Battalion P2 3703, in Puzunmyaung Village, Nyaung Lay Pin Township, Bago Region, according to an official release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One junta soldier was killed and two others were wounded during the skirmish. The Fire Dragon fighters were able to withdraw safely from the area without sustaining any casualties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>3. Junta Forces Torch and Destroy Kamma Defense Force (KMDF) Camp During Ground Offensive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 30<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 27, junta troops began a ground offensive from Pakokku, traveling by vehicles through Hmyaik Pin Kone Village and proceeding on foot toward resistance strongholds in Ngaphonekan and Nyaung Jit Pin Villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By May 28, a junta column of nearly 150 troops had advanced from the Nyaung Jit Pin\u2013Kan Taw checkpoint road to the town of Kamma, where they torched and destroyed the camp of the Kamma Defense Force (KMDF), according to a KMDF statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A KMDF spokesperson explained,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe initially thought the column would move toward the junta police station in Kamma via Nyaung Jit Pin. But instead, they diverted through forest trails and reached our camp. Our troops had been monitoring another direction, so we were caught off guard. The entire camp was set ablaze. We couldn\u2019t salvage anything. We estimate the total losses to be worth around 40 million kyats. KMDF is now in urgent need of support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group has appealed to the public for donations\u2014emphasizing that any contribution, regardless of size, would be greatly appreciated to help rebuild the camp and continue their resistance efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;4. Civilian Man Killed by Junta Artillery Strike in Mobye Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 30<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A civilian man was reportedly killed by an artillery shell fired by the military junta in Mobye Township on May 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports from&nbsp;<em>Mobye Local PDF<\/em>, at approximately&nbsp;<strong>2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 30<\/strong>, a civilian man in his early twenties was fatally struck by indiscriminate heavy weaponry fired by junta forces without provocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In light of the ongoing danger, the public is urged to refrain from traveling through Mobye Township unless absolutely necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;5. Two Civilians Arrested and Executed by Junta Troops Advancing from Done Nwel Village, Taungoo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 30<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement from Battalion 3504 based in Yedashe Township, more than&nbsp;<strong>100 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;from the military junta launched an offensive near&nbsp;<strong>Done Nwel Village<\/strong>, located in&nbsp;<strong>Thone Baw Gyi<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Taungoo Township<\/strong>, at&nbsp;<strong>6:45 p.m. on May 28<\/strong>. The troops seized and brutally executed&nbsp;<strong>two civilians<\/strong>&nbsp;near the junction of the Karen Chaung Bridge Concrete Road and the Ye Lwal Village road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two victims were identified as&nbsp;<strong>Ko Pho Lone<\/strong>, aged 32, and&nbsp;<strong>Ko Ye Zaw<\/strong>, also aged 32. Both were reportedly captured and executed in a cruel and inhumane manner. The troops also&nbsp;<strong>set fire to a civilian residence<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>destroyed over 30 sacks of rice<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>burned a motorcycle belonging to one of the deceased civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;6. Six Junta Soldiers Defect in Chin State, Bringing Along Weapons and Ammunition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 30<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six newly conscripted junta soldiers who deserted a military column of approximately&nbsp;<strong>500 troops<\/strong>&nbsp;advancing into&nbsp;<strong>Chin State<\/strong>&nbsp;since&nbsp;<strong>May 18<\/strong>&nbsp;reportedly contacted the&nbsp;<strong>Urban Guerrilla (UG) network<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Kalay City<\/strong>&nbsp;and successfully defected on&nbsp;<strong>May 21<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The defectors were from&nbsp;<strong>Infantry Battalion 391<\/strong>, operating under&nbsp;<strong>Military Operations Command 77 (MOC-77)<\/strong>. They had been recruited during Conscription Rounds 7 and 8.
