He stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe fascist military, acting in line with its brutal nature, has been relentlessly bombing hospitals, clinics, schools, and civilian targets from the air. In such circumstances, not only our revolutionary fighters but also civilians who may face direct consequences in emergency battle zones need reliable medical care.
We\u2019ve witnessed and experienced this ourselves many times \u2014 when timely access to treatment is delayed due to logistical difficulties, lives that could have been saved are lost. Just yesterday, we lost a revolutionary comrade due to such delays \u2014 it was a deep and painful loss.
That\u2019s why mobile clinics are essential, but they too must be safe and secure. Building such facilities requires financial support. This is where the public must come in and contribute.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further explained that while there is no shortage of human resources \u2014 including CDM (Civil Disobedience Movement) healthcare professionals and trained medical personnel \u2014 the key challenge lies in establishing safe treatment spaces. He emphasized the pressing need for hospitals and clinics that can withstand aerial attacks and called for public financial support to meet these needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To address this, the Ministry of Health under the National Unity Government (NUG) has launched the Safe Hospital, Safe Healthcare Fundraising Campaign<\/strong>. The campaign aims to ensure the availability of secure healthcare services and build hospitals capable of resisting aerial bombardment. Running from May 24 to June 30<\/strong>, the campaign seeks to raise USD 400,000<\/strong>, according to official sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 28<\/strong>, the Embassy of Sweden in Yangon issued a statement expressing profound condolences to the families of civilians killed in aerial attacks carried out by the Myanmar military in Sagaing, Magway, Mandalay, Bago, Rakhine, Chin<\/strong>, and other regions and states across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement reads:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 28<\/strong>, Justice For Myanmar (JFM) issued a statement condemning ASEAN for continuing to promote its failed Five-Point Consensus<\/strong>, even as the military junta intensifies airstrikes and artillery attacks on civilians in violation of its own declared ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JFM stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNot only has the Five-Point Consensus failed to produce any meaningful outcomes, it has actively obstructed effective international action and shielded the junta, allowing it to carry out mass atrocities with impunity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statement further condemned ASEAN member states and corporate entities<\/strong> for financially supporting the junta and enabling its nationwide terror campaign. It accused them of aiding the junta in committing mass killings and displacing millions by providing resources that fuel airstrikes, massacres, and the deliberate targeting of children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JFM called on ASEAN to end its complicity<\/strong>, cut all ties with the military junta<\/strong>, and respect the rights and democratic aspirations of the people of Myanmar<\/strong>, stating that the time to act is now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A public solidarity march will be held in the United Kingdom to commemorate the 80th birthday of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, according to an announcement made by Myanmar Events in UK<\/em> on May 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement includes the following invitation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTogether, let us show that our hearts remain steadfast for Mother Suu and the liberation of Myanmar.
Come, walk with us.
Though we are far from our mother and our homeland,

The solidarity march commemorating Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s 80th birthday will take place in the UK on June 8<\/strong>, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM<\/strong> local time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc 5. Seventeen Individuals, Including One Woman and Sixteen Men, Died After Arrest by the Terrorist Military Regime \u2013 Two of Them Died in Prison Custody<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to data compiled by the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP)<\/strong>, between May 1 and May 28, 2025<\/strong>, a total of 17 individuals<\/strong> \u2013 1 woman and 16 men<\/strong> \u2013 were confirmed to have died after being detained by the terrorist military regime across the country. Among them, 2 individuals died while in prison custody<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the confirmed cases involved U Kyaw Soe<\/strong> (also known as Yoe Pa Lay<\/strong>) from Taku Kone Village<\/strong>, part of the Kya Inn Village Tract<\/strong> in Hlegu Township<\/strong>, Yangon Region. On November 4, 2021<\/strong>, seven plainclothes military personnel raided his home and arrested him under allegations of being associated with the Moon Light group<\/strong>. He was then transported to the Hlegu military interrogation center using his own private vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On December 7, 2022<\/strong>, a court inside Insein Prison<\/strong> sentenced him to 10 years in prison<\/strong> under Section 50(j)<\/strong> of the Counterterrorism Law. Despite suffering frequent fainting episodes caused by injuries sustained during harsh interrogations, he was denied adequate medical care while being held in Tharyarwaddy Prison<\/strong>, which ultimately led to his death on May 23, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
