Need Arises to Build Bomb-Resistant Underground Hospitals and Clinics, Says Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe from the Ministry of Health under the National Unity Government (NUG) has stated that there is now a pressing need to construct bomb-resistant underground hospitals and clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the past, we were able to establish frontline hospitals and clinics in secure forested or mountainous areas, where we provided medical treatment. However, due to the intensification of attacks during the months of April and May, these facilities can no longer guarantee safety. As a result, we are now compelled to build underground hospitals and clinics capable of withstanding bomb blasts\u2014specifically, those that can resist the impact of 500- to 1000-pound bombs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would like to take this opportunity to call upon all Myanmar nationals both inside and outside the country, as well as international donors, to support the construction of these bomb-resistant underground medical facilities,\u201d the minister emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, the Ministry of Health has partnered with&nbsp;<strong>29 Regional Health Officers<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>227 Township Medical Officers<\/strong>, and is operating primary healthcare services across&nbsp;<strong>190 townships<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Healthcare services are being delivered by a workforce of&nbsp;<strong>5,098 healthcare professionals<\/strong>&nbsp;across&nbsp;<strong>106 hospitals<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>808 clinics<\/strong>, and more than&nbsp;<strong>192 mobile clinics<\/strong>. In&nbsp;<strong>Sagaing Region alone<\/strong>, the number of outpatients treated increased significantly from&nbsp;<strong>10,558<\/strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<strong>1,241,633<\/strong>&nbsp;over a span of four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc<strong>&nbsp;2. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Has Dedicated Her Entire Life to Democracy and Human Rights in Myanmar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ko Htein Lin, son of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, stated that his mother has devoted her entire life to the cause of democracy and human rights in Myanmar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy mother, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, has dedicated her entire life solely to the pursuit of democracy and human rights for Myanmar. She spent one-fourth of her life either in prison or under house arrest. Commemorative 3D Items for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s 80th Birthday Sold in Norway to Support the Revolution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support the ongoing revolution, commemorative 3D merchandise marking Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s 80th birthday is now being sold in Norway, according to an announcement by the&nbsp;<strong>Myanmar (CRPH) Support Group, Norway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn an effort to contribute to the revolution, commemorative items jointly produced by Norway-based&nbsp;<strong>3M Studio<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Myanmar (CRPH) Support Group, Norway<\/strong>&nbsp;are now available for purchase. Starting today, people can begin buying and collecting these items,\u201d the announcement stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 3D items include table-top decorations featuring Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s prominent quotes and a pop-up figure of her, miniature busts of Daw Suu, table-top items adorned with Spring Revolution and NLD flags, and magnetic flags representing the Spring Revolution and the NLD. \u201cWe will also soon post images of additional commemorative items such as keychains, lockets, and others,\u201d the group added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those interested in purchasing the items can order them via the&nbsp;<strong>@CRPH Support Group, Norway Messenger<\/strong>.
