According to initial reports,&nbsp;<strong>two female teachers<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>twenty children<\/strong>&nbsp;were killed on the spot, while&nbsp;<strong>over 40 others<\/strong>&nbsp;sustained injuries, as confirmed by the Ministry of Education of the National Unity Government (NUG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry stated that it will conduct a thorough investigation to uncover the facts and ensure that all those responsible\u2014including those who ordered the attack, those who directly committed the crime, and any collaborators\u2014are held fully accountable and brought to justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It declared that&nbsp;<strong>no justification will be accepted<\/strong>&nbsp;for such acts and that&nbsp;<strong>impunity will not be tolerated<\/strong>. All the victims were schoolchildren. What is truly heartbreaking is that no one is stopping or opposing such acts\u2014and people seem able to live as if they are unaware of what&#8217;s happening.<br>Since April 22, apart from personal matters like obituaries, I\u2019ve been relentlessly posting about every single airstrike attack occurring in Myanmar to spread awareness globally. Despite Announced Ceasefire Extension Until End of May, Daily Attacks with Airstrikes and Heavy Weapons Continue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>May 12<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the terrorist junta has formally extended its ceasefire until the end of May, attacks using airstrikes and heavy artillery continue unabated on a daily basis, according to a report released by AAPP on May 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>May 8<\/strong>, the junta launched artillery attacks on Tharyetcho Village in Nawnghkio Township, Shan State, resulting in the deaths of four civilians, including a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the same day, a monastery in Bhamo, Kachin State, was bombed twice by military aircraft. About 15 internally displaced persons (IDPs) were killed, and over 30 others sustained injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>May 9<\/strong>, the junta targeted another monastery\u2014this time in Hlaing Kwe Village, Kawkareik Township, Karen State\u2014with heavy artillery.
