Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than stated during a government online meeting that, in light of the evolving revolutionary circumstances, there is an urgent need for greater unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs a government, we have collectively faced and overcome various security challenges over the past four years. We each understand, more than anyone else, how much effort we have exerted from our respective regions and positions to bring the revolution to its current state. Given the shifting conditions, it is now more important than ever to foster unity and ensure more effective action,\u201d the Prime Minister said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that cabinet members must prioritize effectiveness in their work and reflect on how best to contribute\u2014whether domestically or abroad\u2014in ways that will most benefit the revolution. \u201cMinisters should evaluate where their contributions can be most impactful and efficient in supporting the revolution, then strive harder from those appropriate locations or assignments,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc 2. Fortify Rights Calls on UN Security Council to Impose Arms and Aviation Fuel Embargo on Myanmar Junta<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fortify Rights issued a statement urging the United Nations Security Council to impose a ban on aviation fuel and arms exports to Myanmar\u2019s military junta, in order to prevent ongoing targeted attacks on civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite declaring a ceasefire, the junta has continued launching deadly airstrikes, including attacks on religious buildings sheltering earthquake survivors, the organization reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince April 2, the military junta has carried out intense aerial attacks even in earthquake-affected areas, resulting in civilian deaths, including children. These attacks blatantly demonstrate the junta\u2019s disregard for human life and international law,\u201d said Ko Sai Arkar, Fortify Rights\u2019 Investigations Lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 2, search and recovery operations continued at the collapsed Sky Villa apartment complex in Mandalay City. Debris was cleared from buildings B, C, and D using machinery to recover bodies trapped beneath the rubble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 10:40 a.m., the body of one deceased individual was retrieved from Room P4 of Building C. At approximately 12:55 p.m., two more bodies\u2014one woman and one child\u2014were recovered from the elevator shaft of the same building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further recoveries occurred throughout the afternoon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
