Joint Operations Announced Among Pa Ka Pha Units in Pakokku District<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 29<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 29, Pa Ka Pha (People\u2019s Defense Forces) units based in Yesagyo, Pauk, and Myaing townships of Pakokku District, Magway Region, issued a joint statement declaring that they would begin collaborative efforts on military matters and provide mutual support based on each other\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to sources, commanders of the township-level Pa Ka Pha units across the district recently held an on-the-ground coordination meeting. The aim was to ensure long-term solidarity and cooperation among units operating at the township, zone, battalion, ward, and village levels \u2014 whether in military affairs or in addressing mutual operational requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They affirmed a shared commitment to work in unity \u2014 politically, militarily, and for regional security \u2014 in order to strengthen the revolutionary effort despite facing real and ongoing challenges on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;2. Intense Fighting Continues in Bhamo Between SAC Units (SAC-21 and LIB-47); Over 100 Family Members of SAC-21 Troops Reportedly Surrender<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 29<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heavy fighting continues in Kachin State\u2019s Bhamo, where junta forces from Strategic Command Unit 21 (SAC-21) and Light Infantry Battalion 47 (LIB-47) remain under assault, with reports emerging that over 100 military family members from SAC-21 have surrendered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clashes reportedly reignited on April 25 when joint forces including the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) resumed their offensive. They launched coordinated attacks against junta positions stationed at SAC-21, LIB-47, the Combined Office, the Municipal Office, Win Light Hotel, Kan Oo School, Bhamo High School No. 1, and Galaxy KTV. Fighting is described as intense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kachin News Group reported that the joint KIA-led forces are now conducting an offensive aimed at fully capturing SAC-21. Battles are said to have reached as far as the central command post of the battalion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the junta has been fiercely defending Bhamo using aerial bombardment, drones, and heavy artillery in an attempt to prevent the loss of the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although unverified, reports surfaced on April 29 claiming that more than 100 family members from SAC-21 had surrendered to the KIA and its allied forces. Independent confirmation of this surrender has not yet been established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign to seize Bhamo began in late December 2024. Two Killed in Attack on SAC Checkpoint at Thekkaw Junction, Mawlamyine-Ye-Three Pagodas Road<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 29<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 29, revolutionary forces under the Yarmanya Column launched an attack on the Thekkaw checkpoint military outpost, located at the Mawlamyine\u2013Ye\u2013Three Pagodas Pass junction in Thanbyuzayat Township, Mon State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack began at around 1:00 p.m., during which junta forces responded with small arms fire, including 120mm and 40mm rounds. The clash lasted approximately 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, two junta personnel were killed and five others seriously injured. The Yarmanya Column reported no casualties on its side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yarmanya Column is a joint revolutionary force formed on January 17, 2025, by Mon resistance groups: the Mon Liberation Army (MLA), the New Mon State Party \u2013 Anti-Dictatorship (NMSP-AD), the Mon State Defense Force (MSDF), and the Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4. SAC Troops Deploy 11 Chemical Gas Bombs and 26 Artillery Shells in Clash near Taung Kham Village<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 29<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A battle broke out near the 902nd Military Base, located close to Taung Kham Village in Naung Cho Township, on April 29. According to a statement from the Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), the junta forces launched an attack using 11 chemical gas bombs and 26 rounds of 120mm heavy artillery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 8:00 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. on April 29, junta troops fired artillery shells from both the 902nd and 453rd military bases and also carried out airstrikes using chemical gas bombs dropped from aircraft, it was reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the SAC (State Administration Council) having extended its ceasefire until the end of April, the military has continued reinforcing troops, launching offensive operations, and conducting airstrikes in non-combat zones within townships administered by the Palaung State Liberation Front\/TNLA in northern Shan State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>5. Two Civilians Killed, Three Injured in Y-12 Bombing of Three Villages in Kalewa Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 29<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the afternoon of April 29, a Y-12 aircraft dropped multiple bombs on Kywe Nan, Sin Khone, and Gazet villages in Kalewa Township without any provocation, according to a statement released by the Kalewa People\u2019s Defence Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the airstrike, two civilians were killed\u2014 a 58-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman\u2014from Kywe Nan and Gazet villages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, three individuals sustained injuries, and three homes were reported to have been damaged or destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>6.
