According to the&nbsp;<strong>Burma Army<\/strong>, junta forces reportedly suffered&nbsp;<strong>significant casualties<\/strong>&nbsp;during these engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>April 19<\/strong>, around&nbsp;<strong>9:30 a.m.<\/strong>, a junta column advanced from&nbsp;<strong>Nwe Ta Me Village<\/strong>&nbsp;towards&nbsp;<strong>Shar Taw Village<\/strong>, during which several soldiers were injured by a landmine planted by the Burma Army at around&nbsp;<strong>10:45 a.m.<\/strong>&nbsp;While attempting to transport the injured and continue their advance, the column was ambushed at approximately&nbsp;<strong>11:45 a.m.<\/strong>&nbsp;by the&nbsp;<strong>Burma Army&#8217;s Battalion 707<\/strong>, in collaboration with medical and nursing units from the southern Poktaung region, using both&nbsp;<strong>heavy and light weapons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>April 20<\/strong>, at around&nbsp;<strong>10:30 a.m.<\/strong>, resistance forces carried out&nbsp;<strong>drone bomb attacks<\/strong>&nbsp;on junta positions at&nbsp;<strong>Nyaung Kone Point<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Shar Taw La Pan Pin Point<\/strong>. Six Junta Soldiers Killed in Ambush Near Bilin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 22<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<strong>Mon State&#8217;s Bilin Township<\/strong>, a clash broke out between&nbsp;<strong>junta troops<\/strong>&nbsp;and resistance forces near&nbsp;<strong>Alu Lay<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Thapyay Ni Villages<\/strong>, where junta soldiers had arrived to establish a concealed base. The engagement left&nbsp;<strong>six junta troops dead<\/strong>, according to&nbsp;<strong>White Dragon \u2013 P29904<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>April 21<\/strong>, at around&nbsp;<strong>11:30 a.m.<\/strong>, as the resistance was preparing to target junta vehicles crossing into Mon State from Pegu Region, the two sides clashed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The junta force, which comprised approximately&nbsp;<strong>20 troops<\/strong>, suffered&nbsp;<strong>six fatalities<\/strong>&nbsp;and several injuries. On the resistance side,&nbsp;<strong>one fighter sustained a minor shrapnel injury<\/strong>&nbsp;but was able to&nbsp;<strong>safely retreat by 11:49 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation was jointly conducted by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>White Dragon Battalion<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Battalion 7801<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Battalion 7805 \u2013 Subdivision 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;5. Two Junta Policemen Arrested by CDF-Hakha for Extorting Civilians at Gunpoint in Hakha<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 22<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 21, 2025, two policemen under the command of the terrorist military council were arrested by the Chinland Defense Force-Hakha (CDF-Hakha) for threatening and extorting innocent civilians in Hakha City using firearms, according to an official statement from the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The arrested officers were found in possession of firearms, ammunition, looted household items, and food supplies at the time of their capture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CDF-Hakha further stated that it will continue to take decisive action against members of the terrorist military council who are inflicting various forms of harm on innocent civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;6. Two Junta Soldiers from LIB-598 Killed by Revolutionary Forces in Shwegyin Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 22<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 22, 2025, revolutionary forces launched an attack near Nyaung Che Htauk Village in Shwegyin Township targeting troops from the terrorist junta\u2019s Light Infantry Battalion 598, confirmed sources reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of the attack, two enemy soldiers were killed. The revolutionary forces sustained no injuries and successfully withdrew from the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;7. SAC Forces Bomb Naungcho Township with Jet Fighters on 20-Day Ceasefire Anniversary, Previously Used Chemical Bombs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 22<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 20th day of the declared ceasefire, SAC forces conducted an aerial bombardment using jet fighters on April 22, 2025, targeting Oum Matee Village in Naungcho Township, located within Ta&#8217;ang Region and the jurisdiction of Military Region 2, according to a report released by the Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At around 10:30 AM on April 22, the junta forces dropped two bombs on civilian residential areas in Oum Matee Village. The explosions destroyed five civilian homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, on April 21, while clashes were ongoing near Battalion 902 in Taung Khan Village, SAC forces dropped 15 chemical bombs, injuring 10 TNLA troops\u2014three of whom suffered severe injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The injured TNLA members experienced symptoms including dizziness, rapid breathing, nausea, agitation, fatigue, and oxygen deprivation. They are currently receiving medical treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;8. Six Junta Soldiers Defect to Resistance Forces in Chin State, Mon State, and Magway Region<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 22<\/strong><br><strong>Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of six soldiers from the terrorist junta forces defected and sought refuge with various People\u2019s Defense Forces in Chin State, Mon State, and Magway Region, according to resistance sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One junta soldier defected to the allied forces of the Kanpetlet People\u2019s Defense Force (Kanpetlet District Special Unit) and the Naga People\u2019s Defense Force (NPDF), bringing with him a complete set of military equipment, including a firearm, ammunition, and hand grenades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, on April 20, three conscripted soldiers (unarmed) from LIBs 253, 254, and 255 in Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region, defected to the Daung Sit Aung Local People\u2019s Defense Force (LPDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Mon State, on April 22, two unarmed soldiers from LIB-106 stationed in Mawkkanin Village fled and sought refuge with the Ye People\u2019s Defense Force (YPDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All defecting soldiers who entered the embrace of the people were transported to secure locations.
