Fierce clashes took place over two consecutive days in Salin Township<\/strong>, Magway Region, involving a junta column of approximately 150 troops. According to the Burma Army<\/strong>, junta forces reportedly suffered significant casualties<\/strong> during these engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 19<\/strong>, around 9:30 a.m.<\/strong>, a junta column advanced from Nwe Ta Me Village<\/strong> towards Shar Taw Village<\/strong>, during which several soldiers were injured by a landmine planted by the Burma Army at around 10:45 a.m.<\/strong> While attempting to transport the injured and continue their advance, the column was ambushed at approximately 11:45 a.m.<\/strong> by the Burma Army’s Battalion 707<\/strong>, in collaboration with medical and nursing units from the southern Poktaung region, using both heavy and light weapons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 20<\/strong>, at around 10:30 a.m.<\/strong>, resistance forces carried out drone bomb attacks<\/strong> on junta positions at Nyaung Kone Point<\/strong> and Shar Taw La Pan Pin Point<\/strong>. In retaliation, junta forces deployed jet fighters<\/strong> to bomb Pan Taw Gyi Village<\/strong> twice and opened fire with automatic weapons, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later that day, at around 12:50 p.m.<\/strong>, the advancing junta column triggered a minefield laid by the Burma Army near Mandalay Bhuya Gyi<\/strong>, just outside Mae Zali Kway Village<\/strong>, resulting in a clash that lasted for approximately three hours<\/strong>. During this time, junta jet fighters provided five aerial support strikes<\/strong>, and two houses in Myaung Khwe Village<\/strong> were reportedly destroyed by fire caused by the airstrikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite relying heavily on air support, the junta\u2019s ground assault was met with stiff resistance<\/strong> from the Revolutionary Joint Forces<\/strong>, who fought back using both heavy and light weapons<\/strong>. The column eventually retreated at around 3:44 p.m.<\/strong> due to sustained losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later that evening, at 6:17 p.m.<\/strong>, joint resistance units conducted another assault using drone bombs and 60mm mortars<\/strong>, targeting junta troop positions in Nyaung Kone Village<\/strong> and Shar Taw Village<\/strong>, inflicting further casualties. Junta airstrikes reportedly followed, with up to seven aerial assaults<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Paungte Township<\/strong>, Pegu Region<\/strong>, a junta unit dispatched from the Mone Taing Police Station<\/strong> to deliver supplies to Kyauk Kyi Taung Gate<\/strong> was ambushed with landmines, resulting in the deaths of two junta soldiers<\/strong>, according to a statement by PPDF \u2013 Battalion 3601<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ambush occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on April 21<\/strong>, as a group of 14 soldiers<\/strong> on seven motorcycles<\/strong> were traveling ahead of a convoy. They were attacked near a bridge between Pauk Taw Village<\/strong> and Akkara Pye Kwat Thit Village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack left two junta troops dead on the spot<\/strong> and five others seriously injured<\/strong>. The bodies of the deceased were retrieved by a vehicle around 3:30 p.m.<\/strong> and later cremated at Pauk Taw Base<\/strong>, while the injured were transported to Mone Taing Hospital<\/strong> for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though junta forces returned fire with small arms during the skirmish, resistance fighters successfully withdrew without casualties<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 3. Junta Soldier Killed as Resistance Bombs Drone Launch Sites in Nyaung Lay Pin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 21<\/strong>, between 3:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.<\/strong>, the 3703 Artillery Unit<\/strong> launched two 60mm mortar rounds<\/strong> at junta drone launch positions in Pazun Myaung Village<\/strong>, located in Nyaung Lay Pin Township<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional mortar fire was directed at Tar Pyat Bridge<\/strong> between 3:20 p.m. and 3:24 p.m.<\/strong>, followed by a sniper attack<\/strong> on a junta soldier leaving the area, who was killed instantly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 4:58 p.m.<\/strong>, another 60mm mortar<\/strong> was fired at Tar Pyat Bridge<\/strong>, and further casualty assessments are currently ongoing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Mon State’s Bilin Township<\/strong>, a clash broke out between junta troops<\/strong> and resistance forces near Alu Lay<\/strong> and Thapyay Ni Villages<\/strong>, where junta soldiers had arrived to establish a concealed base. The engagement left six junta troops dead<\/strong>, according to White Dragon \u2013 P29904<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 21<\/strong>, at around 11:30 a.m.<\/strong>, as the resistance was preparing to target junta vehicles crossing into Mon State from Pegu Region, the two sides clashed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The junta force, which comprised approximately 20 troops<\/strong>, suffered six fatalities<\/strong> and several injuries. On the resistance side, one fighter sustained a minor shrapnel injury<\/strong> but was able to safely retreat by 11:49 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 21, 2025, two policemen under the command of the terrorist military council were arrested by the Chinland Defense Force-Hakha (CDF-Hakha) for threatening and extorting innocent civilians in Hakha City using firearms, according to an official statement from the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The arrested officers were found in possession of firearms, ammunition, looted household items, and food supplies at the time of their capture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CDF-Hakha further stated that it will continue to take decisive action against members of the terrorist military council who are inflicting various forms of harm on innocent civilians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 6. Two Junta Soldiers from LIB-598 Killed by Revolutionary Forces in Shwegyin Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 22, 2025, revolutionary forces launched an attack near Nyaung Che Htauk Village in Shwegyin Township targeting troops from the terrorist junta\u2019s Light Infantry Battalion 598, confirmed sources reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the attack, two enemy soldiers were killed. The revolutionary forces sustained no injuries and successfully withdrew from the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 7. SAC Forces Bomb Naungcho Township with Jet Fighters on 20-Day Ceasefire Anniversary, Previously Used Chemical Bombs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the 20th day of the declared ceasefire, SAC forces conducted an aerial bombardment using jet fighters on April 22, 2025, targeting Oum Matee Village in Naungcho Township, located within Ta’ang Region and the jurisdiction of Military Region 2, according to a report released by the Ta\u2019ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At around 10:30 AM on April 22, the junta forces dropped two bombs on civilian residential areas in Oum Matee Village. The explosions destroyed five civilian homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, on April 21, while clashes were ongoing near Battalion 902 in Taung Khan Village, SAC forces dropped 15 chemical bombs, injuring 10 TNLA troops\u2014three of whom suffered severe injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The injured TNLA members experienced symptoms including dizziness, rapid breathing, nausea, agitation, fatigue, and oxygen deprivation. They are currently receiving medical treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 8. Six Junta Soldiers Defect to Resistance Forces in Chin State, Mon State, and Magway Region<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of six soldiers from the terrorist junta forces defected and sought refuge with various People\u2019s Defense Forces in Chin State, Mon State, and Magway Region, according to resistance sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One junta soldier defected to the allied forces of the Kanpetlet People\u2019s Defense Force (Kanpetlet District Special Unit) and the Naga People\u2019s Defense Force (NPDF), bringing with him a complete set of military equipment, including a firearm, ammunition, and hand grenades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, on April 20, three conscripted soldiers (unarmed) from LIBs 253, 254, and 255 in Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region, defected to the Daung Sit Aung Local People\u2019s Defense Force (LPDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Mon State, on April 22, two unarmed soldiers from LIB-106 stationed in Mawkkanin Village fled and sought refuge with the Ye People\u2019s Defense Force (YPDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All defecting soldiers who entered the embrace of the people were transported to secure locations. Those who defected with arms were awarded honoraria, according to sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
