The strike resulted in the deaths of a 2-year-old child, one resistance fighter, and four members of the fighter’s family, according to local information sources.

The Monywa Information Team emphasized that the airstrike occurred without any armed engagement on the ground. The aircraft dropped bombs and fired rockets indiscriminately at the area.

Although the military junta has previously announced a unilateral ceasefire, they have continued launching aerial attacks on civilian homes and children in areas such as Ayadaw, Yinmabin, and Wetlet townships throughout the traditional Myanmar New Year period, from the day before Thingyan to the second day of the Myanmar calendar’s new year. These attacks have resulted in numerous child casualties, the team reported.

The Monywa Information Team further stated that this deliberate bombing by junta fighter aircraft, operated by members of the Tada-U air force, against civilians in the absence of battle, will be documented as a historical record of atrocity committed by the military regime.

========================

🚩🚩 2.
