April 14<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The military junta launched\u00a0eight airstrikes<\/b>\u00a0on\u00a0Ka Ni Township<\/b>\u00a0in Sagaing Region this morning, according to local resident\u00a0Ko Pyae Aung Naing<\/b>\u00a0speaking on April 14.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a critical alert for Ka Ni Township. Between approximately 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., the SAC carried out eight aerial attacks using Yellow Cat A-2 UAV drones, jet fighters, paramotor gliders, Y-12 aircraft, and Mi-35 helicopters,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

While the extent of damage and casualties is not yet known, junta aircraft were still reportedly flying in the airspace at the time of reporting.<\/p>\n

Between\u00a0March 28 and April 11<\/b>, the military junta had already conducted\u00a072 aerial attacks<\/b>, causing\u00a0105 civilian deaths<\/b>, and launched\u00a030 heavy artillery assaults<\/b>\u00a0resulting in\u00a06 more fatalities<\/b>, according to a statement issued by the\u00a0National Unity Government (NUG)<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a02. Revolutionary Forces Launch Drone Attack on Junta Position in Sapar Twin Pyu Village, Ayartaw Township<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Revolutionary forces carried out a drone attack on\u00a0Sapar Twin Pyu Village<\/b>, located on the southern side of\u00a0Ayartaw Township<\/b>, where the SAC had established a military encampment.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the attack took place on\u00a0April 11<\/b>\u00a0and was carried out jointly by the\u00a0B.I.A (Depayin)<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0LDF (Depayin District Drone Unit 3)<\/b>\u00a0in collaboration with local allied forces and Pa Ka Pha members. The assault employed\u00a0fixed-wing drones<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0small arms weaponry<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Despite heavy retaliatory gunfire from SAC troops using small arms, all revolutionary fighters were able to retreat without sustaining any casualties.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a03. CNF Reports Participation in Over 170 Battles in Four-Year Period<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Chin National Front (CNF)<\/b>\u00a0announced in a statement commemorating its\u00a0fourth anniversary<\/b>\u00a0on\u00a0April 13<\/b>\u00a0that it had taken part in\u00a0over 170 armed engagements<\/b>\u00a0during the past four years.<\/p>\n

Among these were\u00a013 base-capturing operations<\/b>, including\u00a02 operations led solely by CNF forces<\/b>.<\/p>\n

During this period,\u00a091 CNF fighters were killed<\/b>, and\u00a063 others were injured<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The CNF also reaffirmed its commitment to working with\u00a0ICNCC, NUCC, CRPH, and the NUG<\/b>\u00a0toward the establishment of a unified Chin state and the emergence of a federal democratic union.<\/p>\n

Three junta soldiers stationed at\u00a0Kan Pyot Taung Monastery<\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0Lay Myat Hna Township<\/b>,\u00a0Ayeyarwady Region<\/b>, deserted their posts, according to the\u00a0Special Task Force \u2013 Pathein<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The monastery is located in\u00a0Pain Nae Kwin Sha village<\/b>,\u00a0Lay Myat Hna Township<\/b>, within the\u00a0Hinthada District<\/b>\u00a0of Ayeyarwady Region.<\/p>\n

The desertions reportedly occurred during the night of\u00a0April 12<\/b>, and efforts to locate the escapees are currently underway.<\/p>\n

Sources noted that within the junta encampment, sentiments vary: some soldiers are being forced to remain, while others are\u00a0eager to flee or surrender their weapons<\/b>. It was also observed that the majority of the unit consists of\u00a0older-aged personnel<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The Kyarr Thit Nak Military Column held a graduation ceremony for its Week-4 Basic Military Training Course. According to the April 14 announcement, the ceremony was organized under the Southern Military Region, Strategic Division No. (32), marking the completion of Basic Military Training Batch 1\/2025 (Week-4).<\/p>\n

The event included a military parade, demonstration of military exercises, speeches by commanders, and an oath-taking ceremony by the trainees pledging loyalty and commitment.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a06. Awareness Training Conducted on Protection Against Airstrikes, Heavy Weaponry, and Landmine Threats<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

An awareness training program titled\u00a0\u201cProtection Against Airstrikes, Heavy Weaponry, and Landmine Threats\u201d<\/i>\u00a0(Basic Community First Aid Training 1\/2025) was jointly organized by the Vocational Committee of Kale District and the Mobile Medical Team (MMT \u2013 West Division), according to reports.<\/p>\n

The five-day training was attended by 27 teachers (male and female) from the Community Education School. As part of the initiative, the \u201cSafe Shade Campaign\u201d supported the training by donating 1 million kyats to the local air defense team.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a07. If the Junta’s Military Cannot Be Dismantled From Within, Revolutionary Forces Will Be Compelled to Dismantle It Entirely<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

According to PDFInsight, which analyzes military developments, if the junta’s military structure cannot be internally dismantled, then revolutionary forces will have to eliminate it entirely\u2014leading to the complete dismantling of the whole military institution.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt present, the military is no longer a national institution. It merely serves the interests of a close-knit group\u2014relatives and associates. That group is using the entire military force as expendable pawns to safeguard its personal gains. This very group will never take the three necessary corrective actions described above. Therefore, it must be removed first,\u201d stated PDFInsight.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the military fails to dismantle itself from within, the revolutionary forces will take on the task of dismantling it. At that stage, the entire military will need to be dissolved. Otherwise, any ambitious military officer, as long as they secure a position, will simply plot another coup\u2014just as Daw Sein Aye\u2019s thesis warned us,\u201d the analysis further noted.<\/p>\n
