The Interim Chin National Consultative Council (ICNCC) has announced that it will convene a convention to ratify the draft Chin Charter that has already been prepared. This announcement was made in a statement commemorating the fourth anniversary of the ICNCC\u2019s founding.<\/p>\n

The statement noted that the ICNCC has been restructured with seven working committees, and the draft Chin Charter has been successfully completed. It emphasized that plans are in place to convene a convention in the near future to formally ratify the charter.<\/p>\n

It also highlighted the achievements of the Chin Brotherhood (CB) in resisting the military junta, which unlawfully seized power by force of arms. The Brotherhood successfully led operations to liberate key towns\u2014such as Kyondo, Matupi, Mintat, Kanpetlet, and Falam\u2014demonstrating the strength and determination of the Chin people. The ICNCC further noted that over the past four years, these collective efforts have succeeded in preventing the emergence of an authoritarian regime in Chinland.<\/p>\n

The ICNCC and the Chin Brotherhood reaffirmed their commitment to continue coordinating with allied forces in launching town-liberation offensives.<\/p>\n

Organizers of the \u201cCompassionate Thingyan\u201d celebration in Korea announced that more than 30 million Korean won has been raised to support earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar.<\/p>\n

On April 13, a fundraising event titled\u00a0\u201cCompassionate Thingyan 2025: A Public Mourning and Solidarity Gathering for Myanmar Earthquake Victims\u201d<\/i>\u00a0was held at Bupyeong Square in Incheon, South Korea. The event raised over 30 million KRW, including proceeds from the sale of traditional Burmese\u00a0satuditha<\/i>\u00a0offerings.<\/p>\n

The event was led by the Korea-based Committee Against the Military Coup and attended by representatives from the National Unity Government (NUG), the Ministry of Human Rights, and Union Minister U Aung Myo Min. The program included moments of mourning, solidarity speeches, and words of encouragement and empathy for those affected.<\/p>\n

During the event, 22 types of traditional Burmese food and snacks were sold. In addition, revolutionary campaigns and community services also contributed to the activities.<\/p>\n

On April 14, the German Embassy in Yangon announced the arrival of 42 tons of emergency relief supplies in Myanmar through the European Union\u2019s Humanitarian Air Bridge initiative.<\/p>\n

The embassy stated:
\u201cForty-two tons of emergency relief items from Germany arrived yesterday via the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge. These supplies, provided by the German Red Cross, include temporary shelters, hygiene kits, and other critical emergency items. Distribution will be carried out by local partner organizations to communities in earthquake-affected areas.\u201d<\/p>\n

The shipment was sent in response to the devastating earthquake that struck the Sagaing Region on March 28, centered near the city of Sagaing. The disaster resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people and caused widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure across Myanmar.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that the gong for \u201cRevolutionary Thingyan \u2013 The Sound of Resistance from All Directions\u201d was struck at a burnt field in Sarlingyi Township.<\/p>\n

The act was carried out by the \u201cFour Corners Resistance Group,\u201d which struck the gong to raise awareness and rally support for Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) participants, emphasizing that CDM members in distress must not be abandoned and affirming that the revolutionary forces themselves are CDM participants.<\/p>\n

Similarly, gongs were struck in various forested areas as part of the Revolutionary Thingyan observances, each highlighting areas in need of reform and calling attention to the continued struggle.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc\u00a05. Over USD 130,000 Raised from \u201cYaung Ni Live in Maryland\u201d Concert by Singers Lin Lin and Chit Su Wai<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

It has been reported that the \u201cYaung Ni Live in Maryland\u201d concert, performed by singers Lin Lin and Chit Su Wai in Maryland, United States, raised over USD 130,000.<\/p>\n

The concert, held on April 12, drew a full-capacity crowd of Burmese diaspora members who came in strong support.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the event are intended to support the rebuilding of lives for families involved in the revolution, families of fallen heroes, CDM families, activists\u2019 families, those who have been imprisoned or displaced, and for educational aid under the leadership of ground movement leaders. The funds will also be used for inclusive, equal human rights movements across both upland and lowland regions.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc\u00a06. Earthquake of Magnitude 4.7 Strikes Near Dekkhinathiri Township, Naypyidaw in the Early Morning Hours<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

April 14<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

On April 14, 2025, at approximately 2:32 AM Myanmar Standard Time, an earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred near Dekkhinathiri Township. The quake had a shallow depth of approximately 7.6 kilometers underground, according to a warning issued by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management under the National Unity Government (NUG).<\/p>\n

The Ministry also warned that aftershocks of varying intensities may continue following the major earthquake in Sagaing, and urged the public to remain cautious, stay alert, and follow earthquake safety guidelines.<\/p>\n

In addition, on April 13, 2025, at around 8:54 AM Myanmar time, another moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 and a depth of 7.7 kilometers struck near Wuntho in Mandalay Region.<\/p>\n
