A battle broke out between SAC forces and a KIA-allied joint force near Inndawgyi<\/strong> in Mohnyin Township<\/strong>, Kachin State\u2014specifically between Nan Mun Su Kyi Village and Inn Thar Village within the Hsanwin Kone village tract<\/strong>. Reports indicate that five junta soldiers were killed<\/strong> in the engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clash occurred in the early hours of April 11<\/strong>, from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.<\/strong>, between the combined forces of the SAC and SNA (Shanni Nationalities Army)<\/strong> on one side and KIA and local PDF rotating patrol units<\/strong> on the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a field source, five troops from the SAC-SNA side were killed<\/strong> in the fighting. Two firearms, ammunition, and related materials were reportedly seized by the resistance forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The confrontation erupted as a joint SAC-SNA column<\/strong> advanced into the Hsanwin Kone area<\/strong>, which lies within the territory of KIA Battalion 26 under Brigade 9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a separate development, at approximately 1:40 p.m.<\/strong> on the same day, the SAC launched an aerial bombing<\/strong> followed by rocket fire attacks<\/strong> on Bhamo City<\/strong> in Kachin State, according to further reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since early 2025, the junta has been conducting an intensified offensive to recapture the Moebye\u2013Loikaw road section<\/strong>, heavily relying on artillery strikes, drone attacks, and air support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nay Pyi Taw PDF<\/strong>, together with allied revolutionary joint forces, is actively defending and counterattacking<\/strong> against SAC incursions in Moebye, where fierce battles are taking place daily<\/strong>, sources say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Significant casualties have reportedly been sustained by junta troops. During recent fighting, Deputy Battalion Commander from Than Naung Column of Battalion 805 was killed<\/strong>, and six resistance fighters were wounded<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of the time of reporting, resistance forces remain in control of Moebye<\/strong>, but the junta has targeted civilian areas outside battle zones<\/strong> with airstrikes and heavy artillery<\/strong>, resulting in civilian casualties<\/strong>, according to verified information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack occurred around 1:00 p.m. on April 12<\/strong>, when THE BLOOD LINE<\/strong> fighters reportedly threw a hand grenade<\/strong> at the police station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grenade exploded near two police officers<\/strong>, injuring one seriously<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE BLOOD LINE stated that their team safely withdrew<\/strong> to a secure location<\/strong> following the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Karen National Union (KNU)<\/strong>, junta troops from Military Operations Command 207<\/strong>, stationed in Thay Baw Boe<\/strong>, arbitrarily arrested a civilian in Hpa-an District<\/strong>, Hlaingbwe Township<\/strong>, under KNU-controlled territory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 10<\/strong>, around 6:30 p.m.<\/strong>, junta troops forcibly detained<\/strong> Zin Min Htike<\/strong>, a 30-year-old rubber worker<\/strong> from Thon Hman Thay Baw Boe<\/strong> who had gone to Thay Baw Boe town<\/strong> for shopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, on April 9 at 10:00 p.m.<\/strong>, junta troops from LIB 264<\/strong> fired four 120mm mortar rounds<\/strong>, which exploded in Tha Lu Kho, Kauk Mel Thu, and Pan Tin Kone villages<\/strong>, damaging one house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 9:48 p.m.<\/strong>, the SAC carried out a drone bombing<\/strong> on Kyin Kwin Village<\/strong>, destroying two houses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, on April 11<\/strong>, the junta used drone-deployed cluster bombs<\/strong> on Kwin Seik Village<\/strong> in Leiktho Township<\/strong>, hitting an area near a four-way intersection and damaging two houses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 8 at 9:45 p.m.<\/strong>, two 120mm rounds<\/strong> fired by LIB 264<\/strong> exploded inside the monastery compound in Taung Kin Village<\/strong>, causing damage to the monastery<\/strong> itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the shelling, 82-year-old U Paw Than was struck by shrapnel and died instantly. In addition, five civilian homes were set ablaze and destroyed by the artillery explosions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military council launched an unprovoked airstrike using a jet fighter on the school in Thargon Gyi Village, located in the Yelaykyun area of Yesagyo Township, Pakokku District, Magway Region, according to a statement from the Yesagyo Township Information Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airstrike occurred around 10:00 AM on April 12. As students and local civilians managed to flee to safety, no casualties were reported. However, the school building and educational materials suffered significant damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack took place at around 2:00 PM on April 12. Among the deceased were the three monks, a young student named Maung Sone Ni, and a displaced civilian named U Maung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was reported that they had fled on April 10 and were safely transported to a secure location. Arrangements are being made to provide for their basic needs and to help them rebuild their family life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 23 trainees attended the course, which was conducted by three instructors. The training was initiated in response to the growing need for medics capable of providing emergency care on the frontline.
