Myingyan Black Tiger and PDF-Zoland Units Suffer Heavy Losses in Falam Offensive: 17 Killed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to separate announcements from revolutionary forces, a total of&nbsp;<strong>17 resistance fighters<\/strong>\u2014<strong>7 members of the Myingyan Black Tiger (MBT)<\/strong>&nbsp;unit based in Mandalay Region and&nbsp;<strong>10 fighters from the PDF-Zoland<\/strong>&nbsp;unit based in Tedim Township\u2014were killed in the prolonged battle to seize control of&nbsp;<strong>Falam Town<\/strong>&nbsp;in Chin State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Falam offensive, which spanned five months, involved coordinated assaults by MBT and PDF-Zoland units. According to an April 10 statement from the MBT unit, in addition to the 7 fatalities,&nbsp;<strong>3 MBT members<\/strong>&nbsp;sustained amputations of limbs, while approximately&nbsp;<strong>30 others were wounded<\/strong>&nbsp;during the course of the fighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MBT expressed its deep respect and pride for the&nbsp;<strong>discipline, courage, endurance, and loyalty<\/strong>&nbsp;demonstrated by comrades from the&nbsp;<strong>Kyarmay Commando Column<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Kyarmay Column-7<\/strong>, who fought alongside them to liberate Falam Town from the junta\u2019s control and secure it as a resistance stronghold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 11, PDF-Zoland officially confirmed that&nbsp;<strong>10 of its members had fallen<\/strong>&nbsp;in the Falam campaign. The unit honored the fighters as&nbsp;<strong>brave sons of Tedim<\/strong>&nbsp;who gave their lives in a valiant effort to ensure the safety and protection of the people, expressing profound admiration for their&nbsp;<strong>unyielding spirit and selfless sacrifice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Falam offensive was part of the&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Chinland Joint Defense Campaign&#8221;<\/strong>, which brought together a wide coalition of allied resistance forces. BNRA Reports Two Fatalities, Severe Injuries, and Amputations in Falam Offensive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA)<\/strong>&nbsp;reported on April 11 that&nbsp;<strong>two of its fighters were killed<\/strong>, while others sustained&nbsp;<strong>severe injuries and amputations<\/strong>&nbsp;during the Falam offensive\u2014part of the broader&nbsp;<strong>Chinland Joint Defense Campaign<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its statement, BNRA confirmed that the Falam offensive\u2014which began on&nbsp;<strong>November 9, 2024<\/strong>\u2014was successfully concluded on&nbsp;<strong>April 9, 2025<\/strong>, with the complete seizure of the junta&#8217;s key military base in&nbsp;<strong>Falam\u2019s Infantry Battalion 268 hill post<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BNRA noted that preparations for the offensive began in&nbsp;<strong>August 2024<\/strong>, in coordination with Chinland Joint Forces and allied groups. The organization emphasized that, despite the inherent difficulties of war and revolution, they succeeded in overcoming junta defenses in Falam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BNRA detailed its casualties during the campaign:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2 fighters killed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 fighters with single-leg amputations<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2 fighters with double-leg amputations<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 fighter lost fingers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3 fighters seriously wounded<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The group also recalled that it had previously participated in the&nbsp;<strong>Kyin Dway offensive<\/strong>&nbsp;in southern Chin State, which began on&nbsp;<strong>December 22, 2023<\/strong>, where it lost one fighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Falam campaign<\/strong>&nbsp;marked BNRA\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>second major operation<\/strong>&nbsp;within Chin State and involved joint action by resistance forces from both&nbsp;<strong>highland and lowland regions<\/strong>, demonstrating unity and coordination across diverse revolutionary groups. SAC Conducts Another Airstrike on Kawlin Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>April 11<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The military junta conducted another aerial bombardment on Kawlin Township in Sagaing Region this morning, April 11, according to a statement released by the Kawlin People\u2019s Defence Force (Kawlin-PDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strike reportedly occurred at 3:40 AM today, targeting Thae Chaung Ywar Thit, a village situated along the Shwebo\u2013Myitkyina highway in the eastern part of Kawlin Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kawlin-PDF\u2019s statement noted that the aerial attack deliberately targeted civilians, as there was no military activity on the ground at the time of the strike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two bombs were dropped during the attack, with one of them landing and exploding in a field near the village, causing only minimal damage, the group stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a day earlier, on April 10 at 1:40 PM, the SAC also dropped two 500-pound bombs on the school in In Pin Hla Village, Kawlin Township. The attack killed a 13-year-old girl, injured five others, and caused significant destruction and losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having already lost control of Inndaw City and with one of its battalion commanders captured, the military junta has intensified airstrikes in Inndaw, Kawlin, and Wuntho townships. As a result, Kawlin has now come under air assault for two consecutive days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resistance forces have warned civilians in Kawlin, Wuntho, and Inndaw Townships to remain alert to the heightened threat posed by junta airstrikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9&nbsp;<strong>4.
