March 25<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Defense Minister U Yee Mon has urged adherence to established rules and discipline to ensure that the public remains steadfast and continues to hold the revolutionary forces in high regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His remarks were included in a message sent to the graduation ceremony of Officer Training Batch (1) and Soldier Training Batch (24) of the Demoso Local People’s Defense Force (DMO Local PDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe upcoming period is one in which our comrades must demonstrate their combat prowess. I firmly believe that our comrades will secure victories for the people\u2019s revolution. To ensure that the public remains unwavering in their support and continues to respect and admire us, all personnel must strictly abide by the established rules and discipline. Commanders at every level must enforce these standards with utmost diligence,\u201d the minister emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, he urged forces to resolutely dismantle enemy troops and to foster a strong sense of camaraderie among fellow fighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 2. PDF Soldier Killed in Battle Against Junta Forces in Taung Kone, Kone Thar Village, Mobye Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A battle broke out on March 24 between revolutionary forces and junta troops stationed in Taung Kone, Kone Thar Village, Mobye Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the clash, Comrade Robert (also known as Bakh), a soldier from Battalion 1102 under the Karenni (Kayah) Military Region of the Ministry of Defense, National Unity Government (NUG), was killed in action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He made the ultimate sacrifice for the fall of military dictatorship and the establishment of a federal democracy. The leadership of Battalion 1102 expressed deep condolences to his surviving family members and comrades, honoring him as a people’s hero and revolutionary martyr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 3. Resistance Forces Ambush SAC Troops on Union Highway No. 8 in Yebyu Township, Killing Over 20 Soldiers, Including a Lieutenant Colonel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

March 25<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Durak Column has confirmed that resistance forces ambushed a junta military convoy conducting road patrols along Union Highway No. 8 in Yebyu Township, resulting in the deaths of over 20 soldiers, including a lieutenant colonel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack took place around 9:00 AM on March 24 along the Yae-Dawei section of Union Highway No. 8, between Nyaung Thwe Village and Kyauk Kanya Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the operation, the resistance forces seized one RPG-7 launcher, one MA-4 rifle, one MA-3 rifle, two MA-1 rifles, and various other military equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operation was carried out jointly by the Durak Column of the Duwai National Liberation Army (DNLA) and the Yebyu People’s Defense Force (YPPDF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 4. Four Civilians Injured, One House Destroyed in Airstrike on Naetat Village, Pauk Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

March 25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 24<\/strong>, two fighter jets<\/strong>\u2014one from Meiktila Air Base<\/strong> and another from Magway Air Base<\/strong>\u2014carried out a total of three airstrikes<\/strong> on Naetat Village and its surrounding areas<\/strong> in Pauk Township<\/strong>, near the border with Myaing Township<\/strong>, despite no active fighting<\/strong> occurring at the time, according to We Love Myaing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the airstrikes, one civilian house and a motorcycle were destroyed by fire<\/strong>, and four civilians sustained injuries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, junta forces have continued indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas using helicopters equipped with machine guns<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A junta military offensive in Myetaw Village, Ye Lel Kyun Region, Yesagyo Township<\/strong>, has resulted in the destruction of 272 civilian homes<\/strong>, according to reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 14<\/strong>, junta troops stormed the village<\/strong>, firing artillery and small arms<\/strong>, and continued their assault for two consecutive days until March 15<\/strong>, according to InfoCommitteeYesagyo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the raid, junta forces looted civilian properties<\/strong> before setting the village on fire<\/strong>, leading to the total destruction of 272 homes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the arson attacks<\/strong>, entire villages<\/strong> such as Myetaw, Zayat Ni, and Myay Sone Taw<\/strong> in Ye Lel Kyun Region<\/strong> were almost completely burned down<\/strong>. Displaced residents are now in desperate need of food, clothing, shelter, and medical assistance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9 6. PDF and Resistance Forces Significantly Improve Military Capabilities in 2025, Successfully Striking Junta Convoys<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

March 25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF)<\/strong> and allied resistance groups<\/strong> under the National Unity Government (NUG)<\/strong> have significantly improved their military capabilities<\/strong> in 2025<\/strong>, successfully inflicting heavy damage<\/strong> on junta military convoys, according to PDF Insight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 19<\/strong>, resistance forces ambushed a 150-strong junta column<\/strong> consisting of Battalions 313, 106, and 6<\/strong> that had departed from Inn Daw, Katha<\/strong>. The PDF and Kachin Independence Army (KIA)<\/strong> jointly attacked the convoy<\/strong>, resulting in an estimated 47 junta casualties<\/strong> and the capture of 31 soldiers<\/strong>, including two lieutenant colonels and one senior colonel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, on March 9<\/strong>, resistance forces launched a coordinated assault on a 200-strong junta unit<\/strong> from Division 101<\/strong>, which had been deployed from Wak Luu Police Station in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region<\/strong>. The PDF\u2019s Myingyan District Battalion (4\/10), local resistance groups from Ngazun Township, and allied forces<\/strong> successfully killed 25 junta soldiers<\/strong> and captured 14 others<\/strong>, including Lieutenant Colonel Win Hlaing Oo and Colonel Aung Ko Ko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, in five major recent operations<\/strong>, resistance forces have killed or captured a total of 376 junta troops<\/strong>, effectively neutralizing more than three battalions<\/strong>. Additionally, a large cache of weapons was seized<\/strong>, allowing the resistance to both weaken enemy firepower and rearm their own forces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
