The&nbsp;<strong>PDF and Kachin Independence Army (KIA)<\/strong>&nbsp;jointly&nbsp;<strong>attacked the convoy<\/strong>, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>an estimated 47 junta casualties<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>capture of 31 soldiers<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>two lieutenant colonels and one senior colonel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, on&nbsp;<strong>March 9<\/strong>, resistance forces launched a coordinated assault on a&nbsp;<strong>200-strong junta unit<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Division 101<\/strong>, which had been deployed from&nbsp;<strong>Wak Luu Police Station in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region<\/strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>PDF\u2019s Myingyan District Battalion (4\/10), local resistance groups from Ngazun Township, and allied forces<\/strong>&nbsp;successfully&nbsp;<strong>killed 25 junta soldiers<\/strong>&nbsp;and captured&nbsp;<strong>14 others<\/strong>, including&nbsp;<strong>Lieutenant Colonel Win Hlaing Oo and Colonel Aung Ko Ko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, in&nbsp;<strong>five major recent operations<\/strong>, resistance forces have&nbsp;<strong>killed or captured a total of 376 junta troops<\/strong>, effectively&nbsp;<strong>neutralizing more than three battalions<\/strong>.
