The People\u2019s Defense Force (Mandalay), operating under the command of the Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government, has issued an appeal requesting the public to provide necessary feedback, corrections, and complaints as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MDY-PDF acknowledged that it had chosen the path of armed resistance due to the oppressive push from the military dictatorship. Although the consequences of this choice, including the high costs and severe repercussions, were well understood, the decision was made with the belief that failing to resist in this manner would result in even greater suffering for the nation and its people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As human beings, they recognize that circumstances can lead to errors and that power, authority, financial influence, and particularly military ranks gained through arms can corrupt even revolutionaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, MDY-PDF emphasized the importance of the public playing an active role in providing necessary corrections and oversight for the members of the People\u2019s Defense Forces, who have emerged from among the people themselves. Adhering to the principle of \u201cThe People as the Mother and Father,\u201d MDY-PDF stated that it values and respects public guidance and oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group urged citizens to report any violations of military ethics, internal regulations, or disciplinary rules committed by individual MDY-PDF members, battalions, units, or departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, they encouraged individuals to provide any available evidence, documentation, or relevant information to assist in investigations and necessary actions. If required, they also requested cooperation from those willing to participate in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MDY-PDF informed the public that reports, suggestions, and complaints could be submitted through military communication channels, Telegram, email, and the official Facebook page of the force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the morning of March 22, military vehicles from Light Infantry Battalion 6 (LIB-6), en route to reinforce the Taungoo-Bago frontline, were attacked by resistance forces led by the Arakan Army (AA), according to reports from Nyi Rong Sa news agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some military vehicles were set ablaze, and several junta soldiers were reportedly injured or killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, the military launched airstrikes on March 21 and 22, targeting hills above Nyaung Kyaw and Nyaung Chay Htauk villages using helicopters, fighter jets, and Y-12 aircraft. LIB-6 also fired heavy artillery at the battle areas, and clashes have since intensified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, Pyu Saw Htee militia members who were setting fire to fields east of Hson Village were targeted in a landmine attack, resulting in one death and two injuries, according to an announcement from the Shwe Jyo Phyu People\u2019s Defense Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack occurred at 10:04 AM on March 22 and was carried out by the Shwe Jyo Phyu People\u2019s Defense Force (MGN), Aung San\u2019s Blood Civilians Defense Force (ABCDF), and Myingyan Northern Guerrilla Force (MNGF).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the landmine blast, one Pyu Saw Htee member was killed, and two others sustained injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A junta airstrike on a clinic in Hnam Khar Village, Gangaw Township, Magway Region, killed at least ten civilians, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 8:38 AM on March 22, despite the absence of active combat in the area, the military carried out an airstrike using fighter jets, targeting the clinic. Among the dead were a female doctor, children, and nine civilians who had come to receive medical treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, it has been reported that the military is conducting large-scale offensives to regain control over villages in Gangaw Township, forcing around 4,000 local residents to flee their homes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the night of March 18, at approximately 11:00 PM, a 120-strong junta force from Infantry Battalion 50<\/strong> launched an offensive from the southern part of Gangaw, targeting several villages, including Pyar Village, Aung Myint Village (Shaok Pin), Western Gangaw Village, and Shone Shi Village.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The advancing junta forces have now established a base in Aung Myint Village,<\/strong> where they have taken some villagers captive and are fortifying their positions with bunkers and trenches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aung Myint Village is a strategically important location on the Gangaw-Min Ywar and Gangaw-Auk Kye roads, making it significant for both the resistance forces and the junta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military junta carried out airstrikes on Pauktaw Township and Ponna Kyun Township<\/strong> in Rakhine State<\/strong> using jet fighters, according to a report by Arakan Princess Media<\/strong>, a local news agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 2:30 AM on March 22<\/strong>, a jet fighter dropped a bomb<\/strong> near a school in Thae Khon Village, Pauktaw Township<\/strong>. Then, at 2:36 AM<\/strong>, another bomb was dropped near a monastery in Min Te Village<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, at 8:45 AM<\/strong>, a jet fighter conducted an airstrike near Kyauk Zan Village, Ponna Kyun Township<\/strong>, dropping three bombs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although no casualties<\/strong> were reported from these airstrikes, the Thae Khon Village school<\/strong> and a hut in Kyauk Zan Village<\/strong> were damaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 22<\/strong>, at 2:50 AM and 2:56 AM<\/strong>, the junta conducted two rounds of airstrikes<\/strong> on Sin Kone Village, Wetlet Township<\/strong>, injuring three civilians<\/strong>, according to Voice of Mandalay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries<\/strong>, and no houses were reported damaged<\/strong> in the airstrike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sin Kone Village had previously come under junta airstrikes on March 16<\/strong>, resulting in the deaths of four civilians, including a six-month-old infant<\/strong>. Again, on March 20<\/strong>, the junta conducted another airstrike targeting a monastery compound<\/strong>, injuring two civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A junta artillery<\/strong> and airstrike attack<\/strong> on Kan Sint Village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region<\/strong>, resulted in the death of a man<\/strong>, and several houses were set on fire, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 11:00 PM on March 20<\/strong>, Kha Ma Ya (15) battalion<\/strong>, based in Myingyan town<\/strong>, fired five rounds of heavy artillery<\/strong> using a Howitzer<\/strong>, followed by two bombs dropped from a jet fighter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attack killed 47-year-old U Hla<\/strong>, who was directly hit by a bomb and died instantly<\/strong>. Additionally, three houses<\/strong> in the village were destroyed by fire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are reports suggesting that the victim was a Deputy Commander of Pa Ka Pha (Military Region 2)<\/strong>; however, this information has not yet been independently confirmed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
