Military Junta Convoy from Katha to Inndaw Ambushed, Resulting in Its Disintegration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 17, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A military convoy from&nbsp;<strong>Battalion 309<\/strong>, under&nbsp;<strong>Division 77<\/strong>, which was heading from&nbsp;<strong>Katha<\/strong>&nbsp;towards&nbsp;<strong>Inndaw<\/strong>&nbsp;for reinforcement, was intercepted and attacked by revolutionary forces, according to military sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The convoy, consisting of over&nbsp;<strong>150 junta troops<\/strong>, came under attack, resulting in&nbsp;<strong>intense clashes from March 15 to midday on March 16<\/strong>. More than&nbsp;<strong>40 junta soldiers were reportedly killed<\/strong>, while around&nbsp;<strong>30 were captured alive<\/strong>, with many others wounded. The attack caused the&nbsp;<strong>disintegration of the convoy<\/strong>, forcing the troops to&nbsp;<strong>retreat back towards Katha<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operation was&nbsp;<strong>jointly carried out by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and People&#8217;s Defense Forces (PDFs)<\/strong>. The revolutionary forces also seized&nbsp;<strong>a significant amount of weapons and ammunition<\/strong>&nbsp;and are currently conducting&nbsp;<strong>territory-clearing operations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since&nbsp;<strong>August 2024<\/strong>, KIA, PDFs, and the&nbsp;<strong>All Burma Students&#8217; Democratic Front (ABSDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;have been waging a campaign to&nbsp;<strong>capture Inndaw town<\/strong>. The resistance forces have successfully seized&nbsp;<strong>the junta&#8217;s outpost at Nabhar Junction, the military base at Nabhar Monastery in Nabhar Village, and the Inndaw police station<\/strong>, all of which were under the control of the junta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>========================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9<strong>&nbsp;2. Clashes Erupt in Villages Along Pathein-Monywa Road in Laymyethna Township<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 17, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fierce clashes have erupted between&nbsp;<strong>junta troops and People&#8217;s Defense Forces (PDFs) in several villages along the Pathein-Monywa Road in Laymyethna Township<\/strong>, as reported by&nbsp;<strong>People&#8217;s Spring<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fighting started when junta forces launched an&nbsp;<strong>offensive towards the villages of Sak Sak Yo and Chin Hle<\/strong>&nbsp;after suspecting the presence of PDFs in nearby jungle areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the clashes, the junta&nbsp;<strong>blocked access to Yenantha Junction and Sak Sak Yo Junction in Yekyi Township on the morning of March 17<\/strong>. While&nbsp;<strong>Yenantha Junction was later reopened<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Sak Sak Yo Junction remains blocked<\/strong>, prompting the&nbsp;<strong>Yekyi Township People&#8217;s Defense Group to issue a warning for residents to be cautious<\/strong>&nbsp;when traveling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the&nbsp;<strong>344th Artillery Battalion<\/strong>&nbsp;has been&nbsp;<strong>reinforced with additional troops<\/strong>&nbsp;and is actively&nbsp;<strong>digging new bunkers<\/strong>. Junta Attacks Nyaung Jit Pin Pyu Village in Pakokku with Rockets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 17, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Bamarhti Heavy Artillery Disruptive Unit<\/strong>&nbsp;has reported that the&nbsp;<strong>Myanmar military launched a rocket attack on Nyaung Jit Pin Pyu Village in Pakokku Township, Magway Region<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>March 16, at around 1:00 PM<\/strong>, junta forces stationed in the village&nbsp;<strong>were targeted with 10 rocket artillery rounds<\/strong>, of which&nbsp;<strong>seven successfully hit their targets and detonated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The explosions&nbsp;<strong>struck junta buildings and defensive structures<\/strong>, causing significant damage. Junta Airstrike on Lat Pan Hla Village Kills Three Women<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 17, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>March 17, at around 7:00 PM<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Myanmar military launched an airstrike on Lat Pan Hla Village in Sintgaing Township<\/strong>, killing&nbsp;<strong>three women and injuring six others<\/strong>, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;A&nbsp;<strong>jet fighter bombed the creek area northeast of the Lat Pan Hla Village Sunflower Mill<\/strong>. As a result,&nbsp;<strong>three civilians lost their lives, and six others were wounded<\/strong>. SAC Airstrike on Sintgu North Village Kills Four, Including a Six-Month-Old Infant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 17, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SAC military carried out an airstrike on Sintgu North Village in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, killing four civilians, including a six-month-old infant, according to Battalion 15 of Shwebo District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack occurred on the night of&nbsp;<strong>March 16<\/strong>, at&nbsp;<strong>10:13 PM and 10:19 PM<\/strong>, when SAC air forces dropped three bombs from the air despite the absence of any ongoing clashes in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victims included a&nbsp;<strong>six-month-old infant, an 85-year-old grandmother, an 82-year-old grandfather, and a woman in her 30s<\/strong>. Two YGF Resistance Fighters Martyred in Battle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 17, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Dawn Column (2) Yaw Guerrilla Force (YGF)<\/strong>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Force (PDF)<\/strong>&nbsp;has announced that two of its resistance fighters sacrificed their lives in the battle against the military dictatorship and for the establishment of a federal democratic nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>March 25<\/strong>, YGF reported that&nbsp;<strong>Comrade Zarny (a.k.a. Zarny Kyaw) and Comrade Lin Lin (a.k.a. Drug Trafficker Arrested with 5,200 WY Tablets in Sintgaing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>March 17, Radio NUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A drug dealer was apprehended with&nbsp;<strong>5,200 WY methamphetamine tablets<\/strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Sintgaing Township, Mandalay Region<\/strong>, according to the local&nbsp;<strong>People\u2019s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acting on intelligence, the&nbsp;<strong>Pa Ka Pha unit<\/strong>&nbsp;of Sintgaing Township, under direct orders from its leadership, conducted a raid on&nbsp;<strong>March 14<\/strong>&nbsp;at the suspect\u2019s residence in Nattaw Village, where they successfully seized the contraband and arrested the trafficker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The arrested individual has been handed over to the&nbsp;<strong>Sintgaing Township Administrative Office<\/strong>&nbsp;for further legal proceedings.
