March 15<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

An airstrike by the military junta on\u00a0Let Pan Hla Village<\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0Sintgu Township, Mandalay Region<\/b>, resulted in the deaths of\u00a027 civilians<\/b>, including\u00a0six children<\/b>, while over\u00a030 others<\/b>\u00a0sustained injuries, according to a bilingual (Myanmar-English) statement released by\u00a0MDY PDF<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The attack occurred around\u00a03 PM on March 14<\/b>, targeting a busy market area in\u00a0Let Pan Hla Village<\/b>. The military junta carried out the airstrike without warning, dropping bombs from the air, the statement said.<\/p>\n

Among the fatalities were\u00a0six children, including an infant<\/b>, while\u00a032 civilians<\/b>\u00a0were reported injured. Local residents stated that some of the injured were in critical condition, and the death toll could rise further. Additionally,\u00a0five houses<\/b>\u00a0were destroyed by fire due to the attack.<\/p>\n

This was not the first airstrike on\u00a0Let Pan Hla Village<\/b>. The\u00a0MDY PDF<\/b>\u00a0reported that the military had conducted a similar air raid on\u00a0March 4<\/b>, which resulted in the deaths of\u00a0two civilians<\/b>, with several others wounded.<\/p>\n

Let Pan Hla is a\u00a0densely populated village located along the Mandalay-Mogok Highway<\/b>. Since mid-2024,\u00a0resistance forces led by MDY-PDF<\/b>\u00a0have taken control of\u00a0Sintgu Township, including Let Pan Hla Village<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Dr. Soe Thurazaw, a leading figure in\u00a0MDY-PDF<\/b>, wrote on his social media page that the military junta\u00a0deliberately bombed the village using a jet fighter<\/b>, knowing that the area was under resistance control. He also criticized those still supporting the junta, stating that they are\u00a0complicit in war crimes<\/b>.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0MDY-PDF<\/b>, the junta has escalated airstrikes\u00a0specifically targeting civilian areas under resistance control<\/b>, demonstrating a\u00a0pattern of systematic and increasing aerial attacks<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Sintgu Township has been subjected to\u00a0at least seven airstrikes<\/b>\u00a0since it fell under resistance control, according to military records.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a02. Karenni Joint Forces Recapture Frontline Outpost in Mobye, Killing Over 15 Junta Troops and Seizing 9 Weapons<\/b><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF-B03)<\/b>\u00a0announced that resistance forces have recaptured\u00a0strategic frontline outposts<\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0Mobye<\/b>\u00a0after an intense battle, killing\u00a0at least 15 junta soldiers<\/b>\u00a0and seizing\u00a0nine firearms<\/b>.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0March 13<\/b>, the junta launched an\u00a0aggressive offensive<\/b>\u00a0using\u00a0drones and heavy artillery<\/b>, forcing\u00a0Karenni Joint Forces<\/b>\u00a0to\u00a0temporarily withdraw<\/b>\u00a0from some positions.<\/p>\n

However, on\u00a0March 14<\/b>, resistance forces\u00a0launched a counteroffensive<\/b>\u00a0and successfully regained control of the previously lost positions. During the battle,\u00a0at least 15 junta soldiers were killed<\/b>, and many others were wounded before retreating.<\/p>\n

Resistance forces also\u00a0captured nine firearms and additional military equipment<\/b>. However,\u00a0one KNDF-B03 fighter<\/b>\u00a0was killed in action, according to the official statement.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0KNDF-B03<\/b>\u00a0further reported that the junta\u00a0used chemical gas bombs and incendiary bombs<\/b>, along with\u00a0suicide drones<\/b>, in an attempt to maintain control.<\/p>\n

Due to\u00a0incendiary bomb attacks<\/b>, at least\u00a015 houses in Mobye town were destroyed by fire<\/b>\u00a0in March alone, according to local sources.<\/p>\n

The military junta has been\u00a0attempting to reclaim control over Mobye since December 2024<\/b>, deploying\u00a0overwhelming manpower and heavy weaponry<\/b>. However, resistance groups, including the\u00a0Shan South Military Subdivision (No. 1 Strategy), KNDF, and other allied forces<\/b>, have continued to\u00a0resist and counter the junta\u2019s offensives<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a03. Pyu Saw Htee Camp in Launglon Township Attacked, Injuring Four Junta Forces<\/b><\/p>\n

A\u00a0drone strike<\/b>\u00a0targeted a\u00a0Pyu Saw Htee militia camp<\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0Kyauk Ni Maw Village, Launglon Township, Tanintharyi Region<\/b>, injuring\u00a0four junta personnel<\/b>, according to a statement released today by the\u00a0Launglon People\u2019s Defense Force (LLPDF)<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The attack, which took place on\u00a0March 9<\/b>, was part of a coordinated\u00a0drone bombing operation<\/b>\u00a0conducted by\u00a0multiple resistance groups<\/b>.<\/p>\n

At approximately\u00a010 AM<\/b>, resistance forces\u00a0deployed drones<\/b>\u00a0to bomb the Pyu Saw Htee camp in\u00a0Kyauk Ni Maw Village<\/b>. The attack successfully hit\u00a0enemy positions near a bunker<\/b>, injuring\u00a0four junta personnel<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Following the strike, the military\u00a0responded with aerial bombardment<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0small arms fire<\/b>, but resistance fighters managed to withdraw safely.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a04. Twelve Junta Soldiers Killed, Eleven Fled to Thailand in the Battle for Pu Lu Tu Camp at the Thai-Myanmar Border<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

The Karen National Union (KNU) officially announced today, March 15, that twelve junta soldiers were killed and eleven fled into Thailand when the junta\u2019s Pu Lu Tu camp, located at the Thai-Myanmar border in Karen State, was attacked and captured.<\/p>\n

According to the announcement, the camp\u2014positioned within KNU-controlled territory in Hlaingbwe Township\u2014was occupied by junta forces from Infantry Battalion 31, Point 1248, Pu Lu Tu outpost. On March 14, the camp was successfully overrun by Brigade 7 of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), the Karen National Defence Organization (KNDO), and allied revolutionary forces.<\/p>\n

During the battle, twelve junta soldiers were killed, and eleven managed to escape into Thailand. Among those who fled, three were reportedly wounded, carrying with them two small firearms and one hand grenade, as stated in the announcement.<\/p>\n

While the revolutionary forces were able to seize weapons and ammunition from the junta\u2019s arsenal at the camp, the KNLA reported that six of their comrades sustained injuries, and three sacrificed their lives for the country and their people.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a05. Three Junta Soldiers Killed in Attack on Zagyain Gate and Sput Kyel Factory in Taungtha Township<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

According to a statement from Battalion 3 of Myingyan District, an attack was carried out on the junta-controlled Zagyain Gate and Sput Kyel Factory in Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region, resulting in the deaths of three junta soldiers. Additionally, the gate post and warehouse were set on fire.<\/p>\n

The attack took place on the afternoon of March 14. The Zagyain Gate, located on the western outskirts of Taungtha, was manned by approximately fifty junta soldiers when it came under assault from revolutionary forces of Battalion 3 of Myingyan District.<\/p>\n

As a result of the attack, three junta soldiers were killed, with reports indicating additional casualties among the remaining troops. During the battle, around thirty junta soldiers attempted to counterattack from the railway side, preventing the revolutionary forces from retrieving the weapons and ammunition of the deceased soldiers. Instead, they focused on destroying the outpost by setting it ablaze.<\/p>\n

Following the assault on the Zagyain Gate, the revolutionary forces launched a separate attack on junta troops stationed at the Sput Kyel Factory using 60mm mortars. The attack resulted in the destruction of three bunkers inside the factory compound, as well as the burning of a warehouse used by the junta forces.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a06. Three Junta Soldiers Killed in Attack on Patrolling Troops from Ka Pa Sa 15 Base in Aunglan<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

March 15<\/p>\n

An attack on a junta patrol unit from Ka Pa Sa 15 base in Aunglan Township, Magway Region, resulted in the deaths of three junta soldiers, according to a statement from Battalion 1 of Thayet District.<\/p>\n

On the night of March 13 at around 8:40 PM, a group of approximately twenty-five junta troops from Ka Pa Sa 15 (Defense Equipment Factory No. 15) set out on a patrol mission in the vicinity of Thambulu Village. They were ambushed by revolutionary forces near the junction of Paung Yoe, Inn Gyi, and Kywe Khaung villages in Thambulu battle zone.<\/p>\n

The attack lasted about ten minutes, resulting in the deaths of three junta soldiers and injuries to seven others. The revolutionary forces managed to seize fifty-two rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, one MA-2 magazine, and a military helmet from the battle site.<\/p>\n

However, due to reinforcements arriving from Ka Pa Sa 15, the revolutionary forces withdrew from the area without sustaining any casualties.<\/p>\n

The attack was carried out as a joint operation involving Naypyidaw-based Infantry Battalions 902 and 804, Battalion 1 of Thayet District, the Southern Magway People’s Defense Force (SMPDF), and the Aunglan People\u2019s Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha).<\/p>\n
