The\u00a0Pao National Defense Force – Khum Gaung (PNDF-KK)<\/b>\u00a0organized a ceremony to commemorate the\u00a076th Pao National Day<\/b>\u00a0on\u00a0March 13<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by\u00a0leaders of allied groups, invited guests, and local residents<\/b>\u00a0from areas under PNDF-KK’s control.<\/p>\n

PNDF-KK is actively participating in the\u00a0resistance movement under the political leadership of the Pao National Federal Council (PNFC)<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a02. Attack on Junta Soldiers Who Were Burning Ywarthit Village in Yedashe<\/b><\/p>\n

At\u00a07:10 PM on March 13<\/b>, more than\u00a060 junta soldiers<\/b>\u00a0stationed at\u00a0Ywarthit Village<\/b>, on the\u00a0eastern bank of the Sittoung River in Yedashe Township<\/b>, began\u00a0burning down civilian homes<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Upon receiving this information, members of the\u00a0joint resistance forces<\/b>\u00a0launched an attack, leading to a\u00a045-minute-long<\/b>\u00a0intense firefight, as reported by the\u00a0Royal Lightning Column<\/b>.<\/p>\n

As a result of the resistance forces’ offensive,\u00a0several junta soldiers sustained injuries<\/b>, though the exact number is still under investigation.<\/p>\n

The battle involved\u00a0RTC troops, Naypyidaw\u2019s 801st Battalion, and the Yedashe Pa Ka Pha unit led by Bo Mote Seit<\/b>. Despite the intense fighting,\u00a0resistance forces successfully withdrew without casualties<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a03. Remains of 15 Junta Troops, Including Two Children and One Woman, Found After Matupi Battle<\/b><\/p>\n

Eight months after the\u00a0Matupi battle<\/b>, where junta troops fled their base, the\u00a0remains of at least 15 individuals, including junta soldiers, their family members, two children, and one woman,<\/b>\u00a0have been discovered, according to\u00a0Ko Lawrence from the Min Tat Township IDP Camp Management Committee<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI personally saw around 15 sets of remains. But according to locals, the number could be as high as 120. Some remains were lost due to wildfires, while others were found in streams and bodies of water. Some were discovered near the abandoned base,” he said.<\/p>\n

Among the findings were\u00a0junta uniforms, bulletproof vests, rank insignias with stars, financial records from U Paing Company regarding junta salaries, and personal belongings<\/b>.<\/p>\n

“Without food and drinking water, they fled for over a month through harsh weather. Some died of dysentery. Among the remains, we found\u00a0two children’s bodies and one confirmed female corpse<\/b>,” said Ko Lawrence.<\/p>\n

Due to the\u00a0remoteness of the site<\/b>, cremation or burial efforts have been challenging. The search for more remains requires\u00a0teams of 20 to 30 people working for two to three days in the jungle<\/b>. “Regardless of whether they were enemies or not, we want to\u00a0properly cremate or bury them with dignity<\/b>,” he added.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a04. SAC Forces Burn Over 50 Homes in Pan Nyo Village, Myaung Township<\/b><\/p>\n

Junta troops\u00a0torched more than 50 homes<\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0Pan Nyo Village, Myaung Township<\/b>, according to\u00a0Ko Nway Oo from the Myaung PDF-CDSOM<\/b>.<\/p>\n

By the morning of\u00a0March 14<\/b>, the military column had already\u00a0moved toward Myetaung Village<\/b>, while\u00a0Pan Nyo Village<\/b>\u2014where\u00a0many internally displaced people (IDPs) had taken refuge<\/b>\u2014was left in ruins. The\u00a0primary target of the arson attack was a school providing education to displaced children<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0burning of Pan Nyo Village<\/b>\u00a0began at\u00a08 AM on March 14<\/b>, shortly after the\u00a0junta troops arrived in Myetaung Village<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a05. Indiscriminate Airstrike on a Crowded Market Area in Lat Pan Hla Village, Singu Township, Kills 11 Civilians<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

At approximately 3:00 PM on March 14, 2025, the terrorist military council carried out an indiscriminate airstrike on the crowded market area in Lat Pan Hla Village, Singu Township.<\/p>\n

According to the Mandalay People’s Defense Force (PDF), the attack resulted in the deaths of\u00a011 innocent civilians, including two children<\/b>, while around\u00a030 others were injured<\/b>.<\/p>\n

This is not the first such attack. On\u00a0March 4, 2025<\/b>, the military junta also launched an airstrike on Lat Pan Hla Village, killing\u00a0two civilians<\/b>\u00a0and injuring several others.<\/p>\n

Reports indicate that the terrorist military council has been increasingly targeting civilians with airstrikes in areas controlled by revolutionary forces.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udea9\ud83d\udea9\u00a06. Six Soldiers, Including a Senior Sergeant from SAC’s Light Infantry Battalion 19 in Ye, Defect with Weapons<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

On\u00a0March 14, 2025<\/b>, a\u00a0senior sergeant and five soldiers<\/b>\u00a0from\u00a0Light Infantry Battalion 19 in Ye, Mon State<\/b>\u00a0defected to\u00a0Ye Belu Battalion<\/b>, bringing along a\u00a0MA-3 rifle, two magazines, and 60 rounds of ammunition<\/b>. Ye Belu forces confirmed the defection in an official statement.<\/p>\n

The defecting soldiers were identified as\u00a0Saw Pyae Hein, Wai Yan Htut, Khun Aye Naing Soe, Kyaw Thet Oo, and Wai Min Paing<\/b>, along with\u00a0Senior Sergeant Ko Zulun Thet<\/b>, who was awarded\u00a0a cash reward of 3 million kyats<\/b>\u00a0for defecting.<\/p>\n

Security personnel, including\u00a0police officers and members of the SAC forces stationed in Mon State<\/b>, are encouraged to join\u00a0Ye Belu Battalion<\/b>\u00a0in the fight for a new democratic nation desired by the people.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0March 14, 2025<\/b>, the\u00a0Naypyidaw People’s Defense Force (NPT-PDF)<\/b>\u00a0held its\u00a0first-ever Junior Commander Training Graduation Ceremony<\/b>, according to reports from KPV News Agency.<\/p>\n

The training was conducted under the\u00a0Central Military Headquarters, Strategic Command No. 17<\/b>, with\u00a0Battalions 804, 901, 902, and 903<\/b>\u00a0training\u00a077 recruits<\/b>\u00a0for two months. Upon graduation, these junior commanders will be deployed to military zones under the\u00a0NPT-PDF<\/b>, taking on commanding roles in combat operations.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0training commander Nay Thaminn<\/b>,
“We sought assistance from allied organizations to train our forces. Given the current situation, it has become crucial to systematically strengthen our troops, which is why this training was conducted.”<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n

During the graduation ceremony, a\u00a0congratulatory message from the NUG Ministry of Defense<\/b>\u00a0was read, followed by speeches from the\u00a0Commander-in-Chief and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of NPT-PDF, as well as representatives from Strategic Command 17 and Karenni – Free Burma Rangers<\/b>.
