Our people are standing strong and resisting the terrorist military regime. Due to their resilience and resistance, we are winning, and the terrorist military regime is losing\u2014this is something I can say with absolute certainty. Our revolution started from zero, yet today, our armed resistance forces and ethnic revolutionary armed groups have successfully taken control of over 50% of the country\u2019s territory.&#8221;<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Additionally,\u00a0<b>former Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Myanmar, Priscilla Clapp<\/b>, participated in the discussion online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun further emphasized,\u00a0<b>&#8220;Our revolution is a people-centered movement, driven by the will of the people. Youth participation, along with the support of social media and technology, has significantly advanced our movement. Ko Htein Lin Arrives in the U.S. for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s 80th Birthday Campaign<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>March 12<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Ko Htein Lin, the son of Myanmar\u2019s detained pro-democracy leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, has arrived in New York City, USA, for the Suu 80th Birthday Campaign, which marks her 80th birthday.<\/b>\u00a0Event organizers confirmed his arrival.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ko Htein Lin, also known as\u00a0<b>Kim Aris<\/b>, traveled to the U.S. to meet with Myanmar expatriates as part of the campaign. He arrived in New York today, where he was welcomed at the airport by members of the Myanmar community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The campaign event will also feature\u00a0<b>Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun<\/b>,\u00a0<b>Minister Naw Susanna Hla Hla Soe<\/b>\u00a0(Minister for Women, Youth, and Children\u2019s Affairs), and\u00a0<b>Sean Turnell<\/b>, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s former economic advisor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The gathering is scheduled to take place\u00a0<b>on Saturday, March 15, from 1 PM to 4 PM<\/b>, and event organizers have invited all Myanmar pro-democracy supporters abroad to attend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">========================<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc<b>\u00a03. Urgent Call for Water Aid for Karenni Refugee Camps<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>March 12<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The\u00a0<b>Karenni Refugee Relief Network<\/b>\u00a0has issued an urgent appeal for support to provide clean water to displaced people in Karenni refugee camps.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>&#8220;As the hot season approaches, let\u2019s come together to provide even a single drop of clean water for displaced civilians in need. Some may wonder why refugees don\u2019t move to areas with sufficient water supply. The reality is that many of these water-rich areas are now occupied by military bases or conflict zones controlled by the SAC. This has forced displaced people to endure severe water shortages in locations where they are struggling to survive,&#8221;<\/b>\u00a0the group stated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Many refugee camps are in desperate need of clean drinking water. Campaign to Mobilize Public Support for &#8220;Towards Ayeyar West Capital&#8221;<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>March 12<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A campaign titled\u00a0<b>&#8220;Towards Ayeyar West Capital&#8221;<\/b>\u00a0has been launched with a fundraising target of\u00a0<b>1.5 billion MMK<\/b>\u00a0from\u00a0<b>March 3 to March 31<\/b>, calling for public participation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">&#8220;Though we are at an age where we should be learning and experiencing youth freely, we chose to study military tactics far from our university. Once this war ends, we will run back to our university. We will run back to our hometowns. Even if the path is as rough as a summer road, we will overcome all obstacles and return to\u00a0<b>Pakokku<\/b>, known as &#8216;Ayeyar West Capital.&#8217; This campaign is designed to support that journey home.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This campaign is initiated by\u00a0<b>five resistance groups<\/b>\u00a0based in\u00a0<b>Pakokku<\/b>, namely:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Thu Rain TR<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Earthquake People&#8217;s Defence Force<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Justice Revolution Force<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Hunter Pakokku<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Six Senses Guerrilla Force<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Since late\u00a0<b>2024<\/b>, these five groups have significantly escalated military operations and achieved notable successes in battles. The campaign aims to sustain\u00a0<b>effective base-capturing operations<\/b>\u00a0within\u00a0<b>Pakokku District<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Contributors can donate any amount they can afford. Each donation will receive a\u00a0<b>serial-numbered certificate of recognition<\/b>. Upon the campaign\u2019s completion, a\u00a0<b>lucky draw<\/b>\u00a0will be conducted using the serial numbers, and commemorative gifts will be awarded to selected donors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">========================<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc<b>\u00a05. Informing Yangon Industrial Zone Workers About ILO Article 33 Actions Against the Military Junta<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>March 12<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Workers in Yangon\u2019s\u00a0<b>industrial zones<\/b>\u00a0have been informed about the necessity of\u00a0<b>ILO Article 33<\/b>\u00a0sanctions against the military junta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Activists distributed awareness messages about the\u00a0<b>reasons for implementing Article 33<\/b>\u00a0by placing them inside\u00a0<b>women\u2019s sanitary products<\/b>\u00a0and discreetly distributing them among industrial workers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This movement was carried out collaboratively by:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Four Yangon-based resistance groups<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Grassroots protest networks<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Since the military coup, the\u00a0<b>terrorist junta<\/b>\u00a0has\u00a0<b>forced labor upon workers<\/b>,\u00a0<b>denied their right to unionize<\/b>, and violated\u00a0<b>ILO standards<\/b>\u00a0that protect workers\u2019 freedoms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The public has witnessed these violations firsthand. Therefore, urgent action is required, and\u00a0<b>people&#8217;s voices, opinions, and support<\/b>\u00a0are necessary to push for\u00a0<b>immediate accountability measures against the junta<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">========================<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc<b>\u00a06. 115 Extrajudicial Killings by the Military Junta in February 2025<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>March 12<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">According to the\u00a0<b>Ministry of Human Rights<\/b>, there were\u00a0<b>115 extrajudicial killings<\/b>\u00a0committed by the\u00a0<b>terrorist military junta<\/b>\u00a0in February\u00a0<b>2025<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Widespread\u00a0<b>human rights violations<\/b>\u00a0are occurring daily across Myanmar, and the\u00a0<b>National Unity Government (NUG)\u2019s Ministry of Human Rights<\/b>\u00a0has been systematically documenting these incidents using\u00a0<b>reliable sources<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In\u00a0<b>February 2025<\/b>, the junta committed:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>115 extrajudicial killings<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>130 cases of arson against homes and private properties<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>137 other human rights violations<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A\u00a0<b>total of 604 human rights violations<\/b>\u00a0were recorded in February alone, with\u00a0<b>Sagaing, Magway, and Mandalay Regions<\/b>\u00a0experiencing the highest number of incidents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">========================<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\ud83d\udccc\ud83d\udccc<b>\u00a07.
