Ko Htein Lin has affirmed that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and the people of Myanmar share a strong and unwavering desire for the country\u2019s liberation. He made this statement in March through a video message.<\/p>\n

“When I look at my mother\u2019s statue, I can feel her unwavering determination and undiminished strength. My fervent wish from the depths of my heart is for my mother to be freed as soon as possible. I believe the people of Myanmar also have a similarly intense desire\u2014like a blazing fire\u2014to see a peaceful and liberated Myanmar once again. Our burning aspiration must never be extinguished,” he said.<\/p>\n

At present, Ko Htein Lin is leading a campaign to commemorate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi\u2019s 80th birthday.<\/p>\n
