NUG Acting President Duwa Lashi La says that the war crimes committed by the terrorist military council are unforgivable<\/h5>\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"is-layout-flow wp-block-group\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>Acting President Duwa Lashi La made the following remarks at the National Unity Government\u2019s 77<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Cabinet Meeting on December 6:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe people of Myanmar believe that unless justice is served regarding the terrorist military council\u2019s war crimes, there will be no true change. We [the National Unity Government] also want to emphasize that we agree with the general public. The general public now thinks that the National Unity Government is considering granting immunity to the military group for the war crimes they committed. The war crimes committed by the terrorist military council are beyond forgiveness or understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Acting President stated that the National Unity Government\u2019s policy path is one that is rebelling for justice.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS02\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">2. NUG Union Prime Minister reveals that, in consultation with affiliated Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs), the NUG is working on plans to make it a year that could determine the revolution<\/h5>\n<p>Union Prime Minister Mahn Winn Khaing Thann revealed that, in consultation with affiliated Ethnic Resistance Organizations (EROs), the National Unity Government (NUG) is working on plans to make it a year that will put an end to the revolution at the meeting between the Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC) and the representatives of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw held on December 5.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDiscussions and suggestions regarding the present issues occurring in the controlled territories are sincerely invited. In addition to the central meeting, the committee attends PaKaHpa (regional people\u2019s defense forces) meetings with respect to each region and works tirelessly to find solutions to the ground management issues that are brought up each week. The committee would like to inform everyone that the National Unity Government has formed a one-year strategic plan, and committees of various ministries are cooperating with allied EROs to make it a year that could decide the revolution.\u201d \u2014 Union Prime Minister stated.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Union Prime Minister and Chairman of the ILACC, Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, urged members of parliament to collaborate in discussing and making suggestions for the successful implementation of local administration in the controlled territories.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS03\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">3. The NUG will investigate the incident in Tamu Township and will impose a severe penalty on those found guilty according to the law<\/h5>\n<p>On December 5, the National Unity Government (NUG) announced the \u201cStatement on the events relating to the incident in Tamu Township\u201d as follows:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>1. Social media is heavily trending the news of the incident in which a lady, purported to be a perpetrator in a murder of some PDFs, is shown being shot and killed. The Ministry of Defence of the National Unity Government reiterates that this is in contravention of the code of conduct and rules of engagement it has laid down.<\/p>\n<p>2. The National Unity Government has directed relevant officials to investigate urgently the events in detail, and to find out whether members of the People\u2019s Defence Force have been involved in any way, and to discover whether any rules of engagement have been contravened.<\/p>\n<p>3. If anyone is found to be in breach of any of the rules stipulated by law, a severe penalty will be imposed on those found guilty, as this is an unacceptable situation.<\/p>\n<p>4. In our endeavours to carry out the people defensive revolution and to counter the terrorism, the People Defence Force must act in accordance with the military law and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>5. Members of the People Defence Forces, People Police Forces and People Defence Organization are reminded not to fall into the trap of acting like the forces of the terrorist military council by committing atrocities and barbarities. They should also be mindful of the fact that we, as a revolution, are combating inhumane acts committed by the military fascists, and so must not at any time act like the military by committing crimes against humanity and performing inhumane acts.<\/p>\n<p>6. The National Unity Government pledges to do its utmost to prevent abhorrent incidents like this from happening again anywhere in the country, and to work towards an independent future Federal Democracy where compassion and empathy thrives in the community.<\/p>\n<p>National Unity Government<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS04\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">4. U Aung Kyi Nyunt, Chairman of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, advises the ministries to collaborate in order to establish an organization capable of effectively bringing together local revolutionary groups<\/h5>\n<p>At the December 5 meeting between the representatives of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and the Interim Local Administration Central Committee (ILACC), U Aung Kyi Nyunt, the Chairman of the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu, suggested a follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn forming the organizations, I have a great deal of respect for those working in ministries who are putting the policies into practice in order to become legitimate in international arenas and legally, to create an administrative mechanism that can compete with the rival military council, and to fill the potential administrative gap. Simultaneously, we notice that people who are directly confronting each other have disagreements and differences of opinion.\u00a0 I would like to suggest that ministries collaborate to create a body capable of successfully bringing together ground revolutionary groups. I would like the assigned and supervised individuals to collaborate and help each other in determining whether the assigned individuals are compatible with their assigned jobs in a timely manner.\u201d \u2014 U Aung Kyi Nyunt said.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was attended by the Union Prime Minister and Chairman of the ILACC Mahn Winn Khaing Thann, the Chairman of the CRPH U Aung Kyi Nyunt, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Pyudaungsu Hluttaw members, Permanent Secretaries, and representatives from several departments.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS05\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">5. NUG Defense Minister U Yee Mon thanks the Chaung-U Township People\u2019s Defense Force for building houses so that the people affected by the fire can live safely<\/h5>\n<p>U Yee Mon, Union Minister of Defense for the National Unity Government, expressed his appreciation for the construction of housing for those affected by the fire on December 6 by writing the following on Twitter:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks for your service PDF Chaung U.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recently, the soldiers of the People\u2019s Defense Force of Chaung-U Township have been building houses for the fire-affected people to live in a safe place.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 40,000 houses and buildings across the country were destroyed by military council troops.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS06\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">6. NUG Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe claims that the military group is using the death penalty as a weapon<\/h5>\n<p>In December, Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe made the following remarks regarding the military council\u2019s imposition of the death penalty:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe military organization is turning their blind eyes to and violating the right to life of each of the while utilizing the death sentence as a weapon. They are deafeningly ignorant of international human rights principles and are curtailing democratic rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On November 30, the terrorist military council imposed death sentences on 19 people: 7 Dagon University students and 12 civilians.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS07\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">7. The Myanmar military defies the concepts of humanity, democracy and justice and the international community can still stop their actions in time<\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On December 6, U Aung Myo Min, Union Minister of Human Rights tweeted that the international community can still stop the actions of the military council.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce again, the junta defies the concepts of humanity, democracy and justice. Unjustified arrest, court martial and death penalty to young student unionists.<\/p>\n<p>These murders can still be stopped. #internationalcommunity, it is time to act.\u201d\u2014 tweeted the Union Minister.<\/p>\n<p>At least 10,000 people were detained by the terrorist military council, and 2,000 people were killed.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS08\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">8. The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Human Rights will jointly organize a seminar to commemorate Human Rights Day<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>On December 6, the Ministry of Education of the National Unity Government announced that the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Human Rights would jointly organize a seminar to commemorate Human Rights Day.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement stated, \u201cThe Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Human Rights will jointly organize an academic seminar and panel discussion on December 9, 2022, in order to advance human rights research, implement international human rights standards, and enhance the social lives of teachers, students, and academic staff involved in the non-violent civil disobedience movement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Human Rights Day is celebrated annually around the world on December 10 with different themes. The day marks the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS09\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">9. This morning, the military council troops raided villages in Salingyi, Tabayin, and Khin-U townships in Sagaing Division<\/h5>\n<p>According to local news sources, starting on the morning of December 6, the terrorist military junta troops raided and destroyed the villages in Salingyi, Tabayin, and Khin-U townships in Sagaing Division.<\/p>\n<p>They said, \u201cThe military column stationed in Tayar Village in Salingyi Township torched and destroyed Shan Kaing and Ohn Taw villages on the morning of December 6.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the column stormed Na Myar Village in Tabayin Township\u2019s eastern part for the second time and set fire to civilian houses in rows.<\/p>\n<p>The military column is reportedly heading towards Yin Village in Tabayin Township.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, when a military vehicle that came out of the Ye-U Traditional Hospital in the early morning arrived near Lotus Bud Circle, about 15 soldiers in the vehicle fired continuously from the railway crossing towards Nyaung Pin Gyi Su Village in the western part of Khin-U Township.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS10\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">10. The public is requested not to use the Monywa\u2013Ayadaw road section<\/h5>\n<p>The God of Monywa People\u2019s Defense Force (GPDF) issued an emergency warning notice on December 6 to prohibit the public from using the Monywa\u2013Ayadaw road section.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe people are requested to refrain from using the Monywa-Ayadaw road section starting from now as the military junta troops are marching on it,\u201d it stated.<\/p>\n<p>The GDPF recommended not to use the entire Monywa-Ayadaw road section unless there is an emergency health issue or a matter of life and death. The GPDF added that a further announcement would be made regarding when the route might be utilized again.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS11\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">11. On December 11, there will be a boycott campaign against the products produced by the Thailand-owned PTT company and by local businesses that have joint ventures with PTT<\/h5>\n<p>On December 5, the Blood Money Campaign announced, \u201cDear Public: On December 11th, we will be conducting a campaign called \u201cCut the Blood Money\u201d to boycott the products produced by Thailand-owned PTT company, and by local businesses that have joint ventures with PTT.
