    1. NUG Acting President Duwa Lashi La claims that he is residing in Myanmar alongside the people and that he is already committed to scarifying anything for the country<\/h5>\n

    NUG Acting President Duwa Lashi La said the following during an interview as part of the REUTERS NEXT Leadership Summit & Global Broadcast organized by the REUTERS news agency on December 1:<\/p>\n

    \u201cI\u2019m still in the country, together with the people, I participate in the revolution by convincing the people to join. I have no idea when I will give up my life. It is up to God\u2019s will. I am already committed to sacrificing anything for my country.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Furthermore, the Acting President stated that hundreds of thousands of civil servants have joined the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), and that if the international communities could support them, the revolution would be quick to succeed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    2. NUG Foreign Minister Daw Zin Mar Aung addresses a letter of condolences on the passing of the former Chinese President Jiang Zemin<\/h5>\n

    On December 3, Daw Zin Mar Aung, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs of the National Unity Government, publicized the sending of a condolence letter on the passing of Jiang Zemin, former Chinese President and former General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, who passed away on November 30.<\/p>\n

    The letter, which was addressed to China\u2019s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, stated that the passing of the former Chinese President Jiang Zemin was a great loss for the people of China and that the people of Myanmar and the National Unity Government expressed their heartfelt sympathy alongside the people of China.<\/p>\n

    3. NUG Deputy Minister U Kyaw Ni calls for the dictatorship to be abolished<\/h5>\n

    On December 2, U Kyaw Ni, Deputy Minister of Labor, called for the eradication of the dictatorship.<\/p>\n

    \u201cTo fulfill the meaning of being a human being, let us join our hands and eradicate the dictatorship,\u201d the deputy minister said.<\/p>\n

    On February 1, 2021, the military unjustly took over state authority. A military dictatorship was subsequently created, unjust laws were passed, and the people were subjected to arbitrary actions.<\/p>\n

    4. Terrorist military troops raided and destroyed villages in Tabayin Township, Sagaing Division this morning<\/h5>\n

    The villages in Tabayin Township, Sagaing Division, were reportedly raided and destroyed by the terrorist military troops this morning.<\/p>\n

    On December 3, the local news sources confirmed the following information:<\/p>\n

    The military junta columns have joined forces and have started to enter the eastern part of Tabayin Township.<\/p>\n

    Thapyay Thar and Wea Gyi villages in Tabayin Township have been raided, and a military column has arrived in Mu Thar Kone Village in Ye-U Township, firing heavy weapons to the east of Tabayin Township.\u00a0<\/p>\n

    Hundreds of locals from nearby villages are currently fleeing.<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    5. The Falcon Guerrilla Force bought a used M16A1 rifle and an M4 carbine<\/h5>\n

    The Falcon Guerrilla Force, Squadron 1 of Pakokku District Battalion 10 of the People\u2019s Defense Force, reported on December 3 that the force had been able to purchase a second-hand M16A1 rifle and an M4 carbine.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWith donations received in October and November from support comrades and supporting organizations, the Falcon Guerrilla Force was able to buy a second-hand M16A1 rifle and an M4 carbine, along with 300 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition. The total cost of these purchases was over 40 million kyats,\u201d the Falcon Guerrilla Force reported.<\/p>\n

    The Falcon Guerrilla Force also said that three guns and the ammunition they needed to equip the force were purchased with a total of over 60 million kyats received from donations in three months: September, October, and November.<\/p>\n

    6. The KNDF Central warns not to rush back to the villages where the military retreated<\/h5>\n

    The KNDF Central Information and Press Department issued a statement on December 3 regarding the news of the military situation in Demoso Township.<\/p>\n

    In the statement, the KNDF warned the residents as, \u201cWe are able to drive the terrorist military forces out of Kone Thar, Thay Sule, Pu Hpar, and Dawkami villages, but since the fighting is still going on, the operation in these villages is still ongoing, and there is a risk of landmines and heavy weapons, we firmly advise the residents not to go back there right away.\u201d<\/p>\n

    According to the KNDF, on December 2, a resident lost his life after stepping on a landmine planted by the military troops while traveling on his way back to his home in Thay Sule.<\/p>\n

    Therefore, the KNDF asked that residents refrain from returning to these places too soon and pay close attention to any military updates they may provide.<\/p>\n

    7. A convoy of 5 junta reinforcement vehicles traveling from Myeik to Bokepyin was ambushed by defending forces, and 5 vehicles retreated<\/h5>\n

    \u00a0<\/p>\n

    On December 3, the Tanintharyi Township People\u2019s Defense Force (PaKaHpa) claimed that the allied forces attacked a convoy of 5 junta reinforcement vehicles that came from Myeik to Bokepyin near Tonkha Village in Tanintharyi Township.<\/p>\n

    \u201cAt 5:20 p.m. on December 2, the allied forces of the Karenni National Liberation Army (KNLA) and the Tiger Commando Special Joint Force (TCSJF) intercepted and attacked a convoy of 5 terrorist military reinforcement vehicles carrying over 100 soldiers near Tonkha Village cemetery in Taninthayi Township,\u201d the defense force reported.<\/p>\n

    \u201cAs a result of the 25-minute attack, 2 vehicles retreated, the members of the terrorist military suffered many injuries, and the list of dead is still being sorted out,\u201d the defense force claimed.<\/p>\n

    The KNLA and TCSJF allies carried out the operation successfully and without suffering any casualties.<\/p>\n

    8. The short film \u201cThe Road Not Taken,\u201d directed by Ko Pauk, will soon be available to watch online<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    On December 3, director Ko Pauk announced that the short film \u201cThe Road Not Taken\u201d will be available to watch online soon as follows:<\/p>\n

    \u201cLet us watch a movie while waging a revolution, and let us fight the revolution while watching a movie. The movie \u2018The Road Not Taken\u2019 will soon be available to watch online. Coming soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The film \u201cThe Road Not Taken,\u201d which was based on the story of a CDM captain and made with soldiers from the revolutionary area, is being screened internationally.<\/p>\n

    In the final week of November, a handover ceremony was held, and 460 million kyats from the money raised by the short film were donated to revolutionary organizations for the first time.<\/p>\n
