According to the facts of this agreement, the responsibility of the government is to ensure that children have the four basic rights, such as the right to survive, the right to development, the right to protection, and the right to participate. However, many children in Myanmar are missing out on their rights to education, including the right to life and protection due to the terrorist military council, which has seized the power and defined itself as self-government. Union Minister U Aung Myo Min said that the airstrikes attack on Leyet Kone School and Demoso Preschool proved that the military council is deliberately destroying the children’s future by targeting innocent children.

In the days before the terrorist military council seized power, it was found that Myanmar had passed a law containing many good moves that would protect the rights of Myanmar’s children in the future, and they were actively hard-working to come up with a rule. Therefore, the Minister of Human Rights reiterated that each and every one of the people are requested to respect the future of children in the new federal state and give the best possible care.

2. Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said that those CDMers who should be praised should praise and those who should be punished should also be punished.

Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said that those CDMers who should be praised should praise and those who should be punished should also be punished. Union Minister of Education and Health Dr. Zaw Wai Soe answered in an interview about the situation of NUG’s preparation regarding the challenges faced by CDMers. In this respond, the Minister clarified the meaning of the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) is a peaceful demonstration. “This is disobedience of an unjust order. The Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), which includes students, teachers, and staff from various sectors, has transformed into an armed revolution, and no one can control this revolution,” the Minister said. “We have already submitted the CDM policy to the NUCC and wanted to appear the policy in accordance with the law. By doing this, there will be no illegal practices against CDMers and non-CDMers,” Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said regarding the CDM policy. In an interview with PVTV news agency, Union Minister Dr. Zaw Wai Soe said about the CDM policy and warned National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) to implement it as soon as possible.

3. Military council troops were killed due to PDF attack in Dawei Township

The local People’s Defense Force reported that three members of the military council were killed in a clash between Wakone village and Thankantoon village in Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region. On November 19 at around 9:00 a.m., the military council convoy of about 80 terrorist troops, which came from Dawei with four cars, was intercepted by the Kawthoolei army and the local people’s defense joint forces. “The clash between the two sides took place more than one and a half hours, and three members of the military council were killed,” he said. After the terrorist military coup, the defense of the Dawei people in the Tanintharyi Region has been bravely shining, and the defensive battles have been continued in the East Forest area of the Dawei township.

4. The deputy ward governor from Mandalay who demanded 20,000 kyats as a guest registration fee was shot dead

The local residents confirmed that a ward deputy governor who was collecting money as the guest registration fee in Maha Aung Mye Township, Mandalay Region, was shot dead on the road. The Generation Z Power (GZP Mandalay) reported that the person who was shot and killed is U Tun Myint Aye, the deputy governor of the Minkone ward, Maha Aung Mye Township, who was shot twice at 11:00 a.m. on November 19.

“The guest registration fee is mostly between 2,000 and 5,000 Kyats in other wards. However, that man asked for 20,000 Kyats. Not long ago, the people in the ward were saying that this man was going to be killed. He was killed now,” said a source living in the ward. The GZP Mandalay reported that U Tun Myint Aye died on the road while being taken to the hospital, and the military council troops raided homes and arrested six innocent people.

5. Ko Mya Aye says he was deeply saddened by the execution of U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw by the military council

The terrorist military council released some prisoners on November 17 who were arrested on the belief on the occasion of National Day. Some of those who were released included 88-generation student leader Ko Mya Aye, who had been arrested since the beginning of the coup. Ko Mya Aye responded to the BBC’s questions that he was deeply sorry for the military council’s execution of U Jimmy and U Phyo Zayar Thaw, who were colleagues and people of the same faith.

“Because of this action, the effects both domestically and internationally will be clearly visible, and if I say it emotionally, I cannot express it in words,” Ko Mya Aye responded to the BBC’s question. Moreover, he expressed his opinion that politically speaking, this does not mean anything, and he sees politically more harm than good. Ko Mya Aye reiterated that he does not want any more executions to happen in the future.

Moreover, Ko Mya Aye answered the BBC’s question of how the 2021 coup now is different from the generation of 1988. The current coup is not the same as in 88, as well as totally different from the coup in 1962. He highlighted that if you want to know whether the current situation is good or bad, you can look at how free the people’s political life, economic life, and social life is. He replied to the BBC that it is better to work together with international communities than to solve the country’s issues by ourselves.

6. Fleeing nearly 30 employees from the Insein prison

“Nearly 30 prison employees fled in the third week of November because they did not want to serve at Insein prison under the military council,” said a prison staff. Those who ran away have posted letters of resignation, and some are not coming back on the grounds of going to school. Female employees are also included among employees who fled from the Insein prison, because they no longer want to serve their duties under the military coup. It is reported that the lists of the escaped employees have been posted since November 19, and the prison authorities and the military council said to notify them if they return to the staff housing. It is known that there are hundreds of thousands of employees have joined the CDM now because they do not want to serve under the military council.

7. The news of the two-day battle with the terrorist army was released by KNU Mutraw News

The KNU Mutraw news reported that as the winter dry season approaches, daily battles are taking place between the KNLA and the armed forces of the terrorist military council, which invaded the area, as well as the BGF border guards. In the statement, it is written that the soldiers of the 5th KNLA brigade have been recapturing the military bases that were lost after 1996.

Therefore, on November 18, a member of the terrorist military council was killed due to a random attack in the Laetoe camp, which is about 50 miles east of Hpapun city. According to the statement of the KNU Mutraw news, comrades of the KNLA No. (5) brigade were not injured during the two-day battle. The military council and BGF troops usually fire on nearby places whenever they were injured in the battle.
