Myanmar no longer has a rule of law. Military leaders are using rape and violence against women as a weapon<\/h5>\n<p>Dr. Sasa, Union Minister of International Cooperation of the National Unity Government stated that the military leaders are using rape and violence against women as a weapon.<\/p>\n<p>In the last week of November, Union Minister Dr. Sasa said, \u201cLooking at what these terrorist military leaders and generals are doing in Myanmar, it is clear that rape and violence against women are atrocious. The evidence of what happened to the Rohingya women shows that the brutal military leaders are using abuse and violence as a weapon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since the military coup in Myanmar, there have been over 100 cases of rape and over 400 murders of women.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS03\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">3. With the assistance of donors, the NUG Ministry of Women, Youths and Children Affairs provides women\u2019s personal items and blankets for female comrades from the KNDF battalion in Kachin State<\/h5>\n<p>The Ministry of Women, Youths and Children Affairs issued the following notification on November 27:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the help of donors, the Ministry of Women, Youths and Children Affairs was able to provide women\u2019s personal items and blankets for female comrades from the KPDF battalion in Kachin State as part of the White Ribbon Campaign for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The campaign to end violence against women will run for 16 days beginning November 25.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS04\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">4. On December 10, there will be a demonstration in New York City demanding the restoration of human rights in Myanmar<\/h5>\n<p>According to reports, a demonstration will be held on December 10 in New York City, USA, under the banner \u201cLet\u2019s Save Motherland Myanmar to Restore Human Rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The New York City Burmese Community announced: \u201cA demonstration will be held on December 10 to call for an immediate end to the violence and the immediate release of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and those arrested unjustly, promoting women\u2019s rights and protecting children\u2019s rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All Myanmar nationals are invited to join the NYCBC team members in the demonstration on December 10.<\/p>\n<p>The New York City Burmese Community also said that the protests abroad can alert the government of the respective country through politics and influence the foreign policy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 id=\"NEWS05\" class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\">5.
