    Acting President Duwa Lashi La said at the 74th<\/sup>\u00a0Cabinet Meeting of the National Unity Government on November 15 that the NUG government would like to work together with ASEAN in solving the issues of Myanmar.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThe most recent ASEAN summit resulted in some positive outcomes for our National Unity Government and the Myanmar Spring Revolution. I understand that this is due to the efforts of the members of the National Unity Government and the political zeal of all citizens of Myanmar. In solving the issue of Myanmar, our government emphasizes the political consensus of the people of Myanmar, and I would like to reiterate that our government wants to cooperate with ASEAN,\u201d said the Acting President.<\/p>\n

    In addition, the Acting President added that the National Unity Government welcomes and recognizes East Timor, which has reached an agreement to become the 11th<\/sup>\u00a0member of ASEAN.<\/p>\n

    U Aung Myo Min, Union Minister of Human Rights, commented on the anti-military youth strike in November that there was absolutely no reason for the Spring Revolution to fail.<\/p>\n

    \u201cI praise the young people and their ideas that are not included in Gene Sharp\u2019s political defiance methods that I studied in the 1988\u20131990s. The revolution of the people, whose spirit is strong and whose ideas are full of excitement, is absolutely not going to fail,\u201d said the Union Minister.<\/p>\n

    The ambassador stated that after the illegal military coup, there were 84 people on death row who were subject to the lawless killings by the military junta.<\/p>\n

    On November 14, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) released a report stating that two civilians who were returning from feeding cows outside the village were killed by artillery shells fired by the 550 Battalion of the junta military based in Ponnagyun.<\/p>\n

    It states, \u201cAye Soe Thein and Kyar Chay, from Di Par Yone village, Ponnagyun Township in Rakhine State, returned from releasing cows outside the village. When they were returning, an artillery shell exploded close to them, fired by Ponnagyun based Battalion 550. Aye Soe Thien died as a result of the explosion, having been fatally injured in the head. Kyar Chay was further seriously injured, having broken his collarbone and dislocated his right hip, and died on the way to the hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Since the military coup, a total of 2,451 people have been killed during the spring revolution.<\/p>\n

    Myanmar Nway-Oo University is working to offer distance learning classes<\/h5>\n

    In November, the Myanmar Nway-Oo University (MNOU) announced that it was working to offer distance learning classes.<\/p>\n

    It states, \u201cNot only the final year class, but also the remaining classes and distance learning classes are being worked on. Due to technological limitations, this final year class is being offered as a pilot program. The MNOU is working hard to open the remaining classes and distance learning classes in the future. In addition, the MNOU will continue to offer core curriculum courses for those who have already completed their basic education and short courses for all the people who want to study knowledge and vocational skills.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The final year students who are the first batch of day courses offered by the Myanmar Nway-Oo University (MNOU) enrolled in the MES platform will be able to start studying their respective subject lessons on the LMS (Moodle) platform from Tuesday, November 22, 2021.<\/p>\n

    Almost 40,000 houses and buildings have been burned down by the terrorist military nationwide<\/h5>\n

    In November, the Institute for Strategy and Policy\u2013Myanmar (ISP\u2013Myanmar) released a report that stated that almost 40,000 houses and buildings across the country had been burned down by the terrorist military.<\/p>\n

    It states, \u201cAs of October 31 of this year, since the military coup, at least 38,568 houses and buildings had been burned down in 81 townships across the country. Among them, at least 6,599 houses and buildings were burned down in Shwebo Township in Sagaing Division and Myaing Township in Magway Division, which were the most.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The terrorist military targeted civilian houses and burned down entire villages, the majority of which occurred in the Sagaing and Magway Divisions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
