    On October 27, U Tin Tun Naing, Union Minister of Planning, Finance and Investment, posted on social media.<\/p>\n

    \u201cAccording to traditional consciousness and examples, not only Min Aung Hlaing but also the dictators who have developed in the history of the world and the dictators who will develop in the future, there are certain points that they firmly believe in their minds. If the dictators are to be eradicated, their traditional beliefs must be destroyed. We must prove that our unity is not temporary but eternal.\u201d\u2014 Union Minister U Tin Tun Naing said.<\/p>\n

    After the military coup on February 1, 2021, the military regime killed at least two thousand people and arrested and detained at least ten thousand people.<\/p>\n

    The NUG Human Rights Minister urges all people to participate in the blackout strike<\/h5>\n

    On October 27, through his social media, U Aung Myo Min, Union Minister of Human Rights of the National Unity Government, urged all the people to participate in the blackout strike.<\/p>\n

    \u201cLet the whole house, the whole city, the whole country be dark. Turn off the lights and be quiet!<\/p>\n

    A blackout movement will be conducted on October 28, starting at 8:30 p.m. for exactly 10 minutes. Message your friends, get involved, show your condolences, pray, punch the dictator in the gut.\u201d \u2014Union Minister U Aung Myo Min said.<\/p>\n

    Kachin ethnic artists were killed along with civilians in a deliberate airstrike conducted by the terrorist military in A Nang Pa, Hpakant, Kachin State.<\/p>\n

    The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and the Representative of the National Unity Government to Australia had a meeting on the issue of Universal Jurisdiction<\/h5>\n

    The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) invited Dr. Tun Aung Shwe, Representative of the National Unity Government (NUG) to Australia, to discuss the issue of Universal Jurisdiction via video conferencing on October 26, at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

    At the meeting, after U Tin Myint, secretary of the CRPH, gave an opening remark, Dr. Tun Aung Shwe explained the conditions of the operation in relation to the global jurisdiction, along with the comprehensive research and documentation of the criminal cases committed by the terrorist military council; the process of cooperation with governments, parliaments, organizations, and individuals, according to the field; the situation of implementation of the process and the difficulties that may be encountered.<\/p>\n

    The secretary and members of the CRPH, chairmen and secretaries of affairs committees from the CRPH, and U Tun Aung Shwe, Representative of the National Unity Government to Australia, attended the meeting.<\/p>\n

    Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun states that the time has come to break the cycle of military atrocities<\/h5>\n

    U Kyaw Moe Tun, Permanent Representative of Myanmar to the United Nations, delivered a statement at the Interactive Dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in Myanmar at the Third Committee of the 77th<\/sup>\u00a0Session of the UN General Assembly held on October 26.<\/p>\n

    \u201cThe military junta might have thought that they could crush the people\u2019s democratic aspirations with guns and violence, and they could never be held accountable for the serious crimes they committed against the people. We must prove that there is no more impunity for the serious international crimes committed in Myanmar. In this regard, the National Unity Government informed the International Criminal Court that Myanmar accepts the Court\u2019s jurisdiction. We will continue to fully cooperate with all accountability efforts, including the Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar and the application of the principle of universal jurisdiction. It is time to break the cycle of military atrocities.\u201d \u2014Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun stated.<\/p>\n

    It was Mr. Thomas Andrew who submitted the special report on the situation of human rights in Myanmar to the third committee of the 77th<\/sup>\u00a0Section of the UN General Assembly.<\/p>\n

    The Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government (MOHAI-NUG) had a meeting with the township administration groups (PaAhPha) from Sagaing and Magway Divisions at 10:00 a.m. on October 26.<\/p>\n

    At the meeting, an official of the Department of People\u2019s Administration explained the policies of the district administration, and the attending members of the township administration groups (PaAhPha) presented the activities of the administration process being implemented on the ground, and the difficulties they are facing, needs, etc., and asked what they wanted to know about the policy.<\/p>\n

    Then, the Associate Permanent Secretary of the MOHAI-NUG said that it is necessary to be more robust and carry out the operations with security awareness in response to the overall brutality of the terrorist military council; and that it will be possible to improve the activities only if people\u2019s administration groups (PaAhPha), people\u2019s defense forces (PaKaPha), and people\u2019s security forces (PaLaPha) coordinate.<\/p>\n

    The people of Myanmar in Britain held a protest movement for the people who were killed by the aerial attack of the terrorist military junta in A Nang Pa, Hpakant Township, Kachin State.<\/p>\n

    Myanmar protesters protested in front of the junta\u2019s embassy and the Russian embassy in Britain, holding Kachin flags.<\/p>\n

    On October 27, the Helping Hands for Burma (H2B) and the Spring Myanmar Society (SMS) teams announced, \u201cApproximately 500 audiences attended six back-to-back shows. The short film was screened in fifteen cities in twelve countries around the world. We are delighted to inform you that a total of $40,066 was raised from this event, while noting that this was not intended as a fundraising event.\u201d<\/p>\n

    They also added, \u201cThis movie has been shown and will be shown in 12 countries and 15 cities around the globe. So far, our event has raised the most funds of any event. After deducting expenses incurred for the event, $33,511.03 net funds will be donated towards the most needed areas of our motherland.\u201d<\/p>\n
