    The Union Minister of Human Rights U Aung Myo Min said this on the Human Rights Talk program of Public Voice Television, presented by the Ministry of Human Rights of the National Unity Government.<\/p>\n

    \u201cAny building, vehicle, or personnel \u2013 clearly marked with humanitarian aid emblems \u2013 must not be targeted. Doing harm to those who wear the Red Cross emblem or the humanitarian aid emblem on the battlefield is a serious violation of international humanitarian law,\u201d \u2014 the Union Minister said.<\/p>\n

    During the fighting in Shan State, the junta troops targeted ambulances on the front lines and arrested and tortured volunteers.<\/p>\n

    The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management released a statement which said that 118.16 million kyats was spent on humanitarian aid including, IDPs.<\/p>\n

    According to the statement, those funds were spent during August: 87.89 million for vulnerable people, 37.49 million for the dead and injured, 1.65 million for CDM staff, 5.5 million for those affected by natural disasters, and 13.66 million for general humanitarian aid.<\/p>\n

    The aid was arranged to reach the people who were suffering from the disaster despite the various obstacles of the military. The NUG\u2019s Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management is providing support to the people whose properties were burnt by the coup terrorist military, the people who fled the offensive attacks of the terrorist military, family members of those who were injured and lost their lives while participating in the revolution, vulnerable groups including the disabled, the victims of natural disasters, and those in need of humanitarian assistance for various reasons.<\/p>\n

    The number of people who fled the war in Rakhine State increased to 60,000 and they are in need of humanitarian aid<\/h5>\n

    At the press conference on September 19, ULA\/AA spokesperson Khaing Thukha said, \u201cIn the past, there were people who fled the war and returned to their home villages, and they became IDPs when the military troops in the villages burned down their houses. Now, with additional IDPs, the total is over sixty thousand. They are suffering from deprivation of adequate shelter, food, and health services. They need help.\u201d<\/p>\n

    He also added that due to the landmines planted by the terrorist army, landmine explosions in Rakhine State have occurred 16 times in three months, killing 6 civilians and injuring 14 others.<\/p>\n

    In addition to this, at the press conference on September 18, Khaing Thukha said, \u201cThe inhumane army is fighting every day in Rathedaung, Maungdaw, and Paletwa. They are arbitrarily firing heavy weapons in the villages where the base camps are located. They are setting fire to the barn to get rid of mice.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Due to the intrusion of the terrorist army in Rakhine State, resurgence battles are taking place in Paletwa Township, Maungdaw Township, and Rathedaung. Currently, the terrorist army has increased its strength to between eight and nine thousand troops in Maungdaw, Rakhine State.<\/p>\n

    The terrorist army, which came out of the Ye-U Traditional Hospital in 3 cars in Ye-U Township, Sagaing Division, entered the western part of Thagara Village in Khin-U Township this morning and opened fire with heavy weapons.<\/p>\n

    On the morning of September 19, the Armed Revolutionary Force K.U, a people\u2019s defense force in Khin-U Township, confirmed that the military convoy had already entered the villages.<\/p>\n

    They said, \u201cThe terrorist military troops that have reached the Bridge over the Myin Daung Creek are spreading to the west side of Thagara Village. They are shooting heavy weapons twice and firing guns.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The Armed Revolutionary Force K.U has issued a warning to the people fleeing the war from nearby villages to quickly escape to safety. The junta troops entering the villages were those who departed from Ye-U Traditional Hospital in three cars around 3:30 this morning.<\/p>\n

    The PDF Taungtha has successfully produced hand-made guns with a box magazine that can fire 7.62 mm bullets<\/h5>\n

    On September 16, the People Defence Force Taungtha announced that they have successfully produced hand-made guns with a box magazine that can fire 7.62 calibre bullets, which are used in the AK-47 rifle.<\/p>\n

    \u201cOur People Defence Force Taungtha tested and produced hand-made guns, which are mainly needed for village defense, and we are able to successfully produce hand-made guns with box magazines fired with 7.62 bullets, which are used in the AK-47 rifle,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n

    According to the People Defence Force Taungtha, those guns are capable of accurately shooting targets up to 600-700 feet.<\/p>\n

    The People Defence Force Taungtha also said that the hand-made guns will be distributed to groups that want to defend the villages, and those who want to form village defence forces can also contact them.<\/p>\n

    According to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), from the time of the military coup to the end of August 2022, at least 760 houses and buildings have been arbitrarily sealed off by the terrorist junta.<\/p>\n
