    At the 65th<\/sup>\u00a0Cabinet Meeting held on August 30, the Acting President Duwa Lashi La said, \u201cThe role of ethnic armed revolution organizations is particularly important for the rapid success of the revolutionary journey. Therefore, from the day we formed our National Unity Government, we approached allied ethnic armed organizations and tried to connect them to work together in building the country. To this day, we continue to try tirelessly. Today, there are ethnic armed organizations that have already joined hands with our government, and there are still groups that we must continue to try to connect with.\u201d<\/p>\n

    At present, organizations such as the Karen National Union (KNU) and the Kachin Independent Army (KIA) are cooperating with the National Unity Government.<\/p>\n

    On August 30, Dr. Sai Khaing Myo Tun, Deputy Minister of Education, posted on social media, \u201cWe all know that Myanmar\u2019s military leaders have used psywar throughout the ages. To make it clear, for example, brainwashing its soldiers (implanting ideas to make them believe in something) is also psywar. For the power-monster military leaders, the military is the savior of the country. It is known to all that, whether it is right or wrong, the one-blood-one-voice-one-order system was instilled in the soldiers to make them believe and obey.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The deputy minister also added that the military council is brainwashing people on television, news media, and social networks every day.<\/p>\n

    In the last week of August, the Project Skywalk announced, \u201cLet us deliver parcels to the camps to take down the military council.     \u00a0It is said that thousands of small Burmese flags will be hoisted as a commemoration.<\/p>\n

    There will also be protest movements to be held throughout Japan on September 11 to appeal the extension of the tenure of UN Permanent Resident Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun.<\/p>\n

    According to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), on August 28, the junta forces severely beat up and captured a local from Thayetchaung Township, Tanintharyi Division, who struggles with mental issues.<\/p>\n

    It stated that Ko Min Lae, who was beaten and captured, was wearing an NLD shirt at the time, and was taken away after approaching the soldiers stationed at Sone Sin Pyar Village Fire Station.<\/p>\n

    From the time of the 2021 military coup to August 30, 2022, a total of 12,188 people are currently under detention and 1,413 are serving sentences.<\/p>\n

    In August, the Hnankhar Village Rehabilitation Team reported, \u201cOn the 19th<\/sup>, the military council and the PDF fought for 2 and a half hours in the boundaries of Hnankhar Village. During that battle, there were casualties from the side of the military council. The military council was upset, and destroyed an IDP school and eight displacement huts in Hnankhar Village.\u201d<\/p>\n

    In addition, it is also reported that the junta troops destroyed a private car, 2 FAW cars, 2 tricycles, Phyusinmyittar Welfare vehicles, and also smashed and destroyed some motorcycles.<\/p>\n

    It was reported that the total loss was over 200 million kyats.<\/p>\n
