One of the young student from downtown Rangoon told that according to the news received from the internet and email, Senior General Than Shwe is celebrating and rejoicing for the success of his plot on Daw Suu. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe is treating not only Daw Suu but also all the Burmese public like nothing, he is toying us what ever he wish turning and tossing around like water. We will try to go near Insein Prsion or if not, we will go and wait for the news at NLD\u2019s headquarter tomorrow\u201d<\/p>\n

He said his opinion after reading the state-run newspaper.<\/p>\n

One of the Buddhist monks who used to speak at regular Dhamma talk to the public commented that;<\/p>\n

\u201cGeneral Soe Win who tried to assassinate Daw Suu and her convoy at Dipeyin in upper Burma back in May 2003 had suffered painfully before he died in 2007. Now again they are trying to disgrace Daw Suu. They are blind with prejudice, they do not see Peace. They do not want to reconcile. In 2007, they cracked down on the Monks, in 2008, after Nargis storm, they ignored the dead and the sufferings of storms\u2019 victims. They sent all the outspoken relief volunteers to jails, sentencing them 50 to 100 years. Now in 2009, they are persecuting the National Leader. Some Burmese were skeptical on yesterday\u2019s closed door trial of Daw Suu, sources told. They were more outraged when they read the news of the court room\u2019s procession of 20th<\/sup> May on yesterday\u2019s state run media. <\/p>\n

Some readers were upset when the junta\u2019s press reported that the prosecuting lawyers raised the fact on the two woman dresses with head hoods similar to Muslim woman dress confiscated by the police from the American intruder swam from the Inya Lake to Daw\u2019s Suu residence. It was followed by the confirmation from the Police Officer, Tin Zaw Tun that if the dresses were put on with the sun glasses as demonstrated by the prosecuting lawyer, he won\u2019t be able to recognized anyone inside the dress.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow the government is trying to frame Daw Suu and her colleagues. They were trying to accuse that she was planning to run away from the house arrest by disguising herself with the help of this foreigner. It is a wicked evil plot.\u201d<\/p>\n
